Has anyone else read it?What did you think of it?Did you read any other of Jacqueline Carey's Novels?

This is my fifth re-reading of the book, and I absolutely cannot put it down.

I wonder if anyone has done an audio version of it. This is something I would love to do.

one of my favorite series I have read, & I turned my g/f at the time on to it ( & reaped the benefits!!:D )

the latest book in the series is out in hardback now. have yet to get it tho.

I've read the whole series including the new onecalled Kushiel's Mercy. Very Delicious

I started the first one in the serious, and, like many novels with a BDSM theme, found the writing stilted and pretentious.
but thats just me.

I, being a lover of words, really loved the first book, but the first 30 pages were a bit of a bore. I can see why the author did it though, she was laying the groundwork for a whole series! I suppose I can forgive her.

I love words too
just not her's
;)

Me and my boy both love this series. When we met he suggested I read it warning that it will try to steal my soul ;) I informed him that I already read it, soul intact.

We were racing to see who would get a copy of Kushiel's Justice first. I won. Read it. And then left notes in it of the parts that reminded me of our relationship and sent him my copy of the book. Cue the "awws" now *chuckles*

Great books. I also highly recommend her other two books. Godslayer and Banewreaker. No bdsm in those books but a very interesting tale of "good" vs "evil" were it is more grey --as opposed to black and white.
