I've run across this in life outside the `net, too. Groups / companies / et al which had sex as some element of their business always attract the white supremacist / black supremacist types (though, generally, far more of the former than the latter). It's where they place their soapboxes, or try to be the most disruptive in a public venue.
Is having issues with sex the common denominator here? Or the attraction to a "taboo" venue, where they can spout their own taboo ideas? Or a bit of both?
