Seriously though, as I drove home and saw a lot of the flooding, I really felt for those folks. When we left on Sunday, the city of Edinburgh was under about 3 feet of water and the river hadn't even crested yet

I know. This winter there was a ton of flooding here in Lewis County too. The destruction caused by rising, muddy water is insane! Prayers go out to those currently in the heart of the flood.

You are just like me and i must say it makes me very very sad. You CANNOT be like me, you cant.... You cannot let everyone walk over you. You just cant. I wont let you!!! I hate to see you stand aside when the rest of the kids play together.
You asked me why they are like that. Why they dont wanna play with you. Why they spit on you and hit you. I dont have an answear for that, i really dont. Some people are just evil, even lil kids. It sadness me, that you still wanna play with them when they treat you shit. They need something and you run and bring it to them. Then they play and you ask if you can play with them and they say NO and laugh into your face. And i know your hurt. I saw your tears and heard your WHY they treat me like this. I know you dont understand and i know your very sad about all of this. Me too honey, me too.....
They say treat someone as you want to be treated and thats what i taught you, yes. I forgot to tell you it does not always work tho. People will be nasty and mean and evil no matter how much you love them and treat them kind. The fact you love someone doesnt mean they gonna love you back. I wish i could give you helpful advice how to make them love you, but i cant, i dunno the answear. I been an outsider my whole life, too. Never found a place where i would fit. This is heartbreaking... I'm so sorry your little girl is hurting and i know how that hurts you. Good thing she has you in her corner. Keep encouraging her to say no and stand up for herself and ask for help. Tell her it's ok to be angry. Give her compliments for being strong and brave and saying what she wants. Being a good girl is sometimes overrated...
Hope she soon finds better friends.
