The National Nude Day Contest is on its way. See the “Welcome Authors! Please Read” Sticky at top of the Author's Hangout for all themed contests.

National Nude Day is a US festival but all of us can celebrate nudity and/or exhibitionism.

Extract from the sticky:

National Nude Day (July 14)
themes: public nudity, exhibitionism, etc.
starts: June 20
closes: July 11
winners announced: July 17

As before, this thread is to encourage authors to write and enter, to support them when the muses fly away, to sympathise when trolls attack, and to shamelessly beg for votes.

For anyone who hasn't entered a themed Literotica contest before:

The advantages are that once you enter, that your entry and all your writing gets more attention, votes, feedback and PCs than it would otherwise get. You also get support from members of the Author's Hangout.

The disadvantages are that you will also attract unwelcome attention from trolls and unenlightened critics. The sweeps of duplicated and illegal votes can cause heartbreak. It can be a bumpy ride.

If you really want your writing to improve, critics will be a factor. Entering a themed Literotica contest is one of the easier ways to get noticed.

If in doubt, go for it. You have nothing to lose but your virginity, and if you haven't lost it yet, what are you doing here?

I can imagine a non-consent/reluctance story where the protagonist refuses to participate and then finds him/herself stripped and exhibited . . .

Possibly auctioned off . . .


Used by people he/she thought were her friends . . . for hours, possibly days . . .


Coming to realize that "pleasure unit" is his/her destiny . . .


And so forth.

Nope. Pretty much anything goes. Check out some of previous years' entries if you're not sure (that's what I did with the Earth Day contest last year).

I missed this one last year. Might come up with an idea this year, maybe.

Interesting. I just reread your How To on entering themed contests, Ogg. I know I reread it, because I'd left a comment the first time. If I commented, I voted. But the stars were grey - my previous vote had been expunged.

So I voted again. I wonder if it will stick this time?

Had an idea for this contest set in my fantasy world time-before-last. Think I'm going to see if I can flesh the sucker out and get it in there this time. I keep struggling on my continuing series ( at least those with plots that aren't pure smut ), and the little side jaunts seem to help that.

I'm going to attempt to dredge up a story worth writing. I entered last year with my Vegas Road Trip Stories. They did fairly well. That was the only contest I ever entered here besides Survivor. I still have nightmares about the troll attacks. LOL

Should attract the trolls like freshly poured concrete walks attract small children.
