Countdown To The PROM!

Attention, Students! Attention!

The AH 2008 Prom will occur:

START: Thursday, May 15th
TIME: GMT (that's British Time): 8:00pm (EST: 3pm PST: 12pm Down-under: um....May 16th sometime in the morning)

END: Saturday, May 17th (unless you're an Aussie, and then it's Sunday, May 18th)

What does "Start" mean? That's when everyone gets ready, meets their dates, exchanges corsages, allows the parents to take photos, gets into their vehicles and heads to the Prom. Doors of the gym will open at that time. This is a global prom that'll be going for a good 24 hours--arrive when you can arrive and stay as long as you can stay.

This timing, we hope, will allow any AH members, anywhere in the world, to drop on in on some computer or other to make an appearance.

Prom Attire, Pictures, Chaperones, King/Queen

Attire: All Prom attendees will be expected to have an appropriate Prom avatar in either a fitting prom dress or formal prom suit/tux.

Photos: There will, of course, be a photographer on hand to snap memorial photos of each couple that wants one. Our photographer is one of the finest, and you will have a picture as good as this one to remember your prom for years to come:

Chaperones will be on the look out for avatars improperly attired as well as for anyone trying to smuggle in illicit substances such as Alcohol http://bestsmileys.com/nono/1.gif Miss Roxanne, Miss Vermilion, and Head Master Foreskin have the right to stop, hold and pat down any student they think is trying to smuggle in contraband.

If caught with contraband, a chaperone may call your parents unless you can convince them not to

Likewise, Chaperones have the right to take any unruly student outside and into detention. All students are expected to be on their best and most proper behavior.

That's actually reassuring since I'm on Left Coast time and the Prom will start at Noon PDT. I won't be able to get to the airport until 3:00 local and then it will take a bit to arrive at your door.
