Obama's speech on race

Our politicians rape us and tell us it is for our own good. Our thieving elites are child molesters: they stick their cocks in us and then they lie to us and tell us that is how it is supposed to be. They make us guilty for even thinking about questioning the way that it is. They threaten us if we even think about telling on them.

"I stand for Hope. I stand for Change."

Barack Obama is a fucking tool, a useless clown spouting easy answers just like the other two media-anointed "candidates."

The US has the most corrupt, venal political system in the Western world. The two party dictatorship WILL NOT ALLOW candidates whose views diverge from the mainstream to stay in the race. Kucinich, Gravel, and Paul were marginalized, mocked, ignored, and destroyed.

The only ones allowed to stay in the race are Establishment mouthpieces, all of whom share the same basic agenda: war, hegemony, and ownership by corporations.

To sit there and actually vote for or support one of these Frankensteins is like wearing a giant "I am stupid gullible fool" button on your ass, inviting repeated and constant rape of your dignity, your savings, and your ideals.

Voting for them is vile and contemptible. They are killers. Bald-faced liars, hegemonists and imperialist murderers.

I wouldn't spit on one of these corporatist fascist puppets if they were on fire.

Chomsky on PCP.

I asked you UD if any Presidential candidate sat in racist pews for twenty years. Did any then try and say they didn't hear anything. Your analogy to these assholes isn't a straight analogy to Wright. That's the point.

No, the point is that a big ado is being made about the Rev. Wright's sermons and blind eyes have been turned while white evangelicals have said things just as damning or worse for decades, all the while being courted and invited for sleepovers at the White House by GOP politicians.

It's fucking hypocritical, but not surprising in the least.

Politicians CANT invite anyone to the WH

only a Pres can

which Repoh Pres has invited a HATER to sleep over?

hmmm, so white evangelicals have commented on "typical black people"?
Provide a link. Obama is shit if he wishes to associate with Wright

Well, that's a strong statement.

And pretty much true.

It gladdens me in a way, since I was telling people the same thing in the seventies.

Jefferson was right and wrong at the same time.

The people are entitled to govern themselves, but they aren't smart enough to do it.

Which is precisely why a democracy was never designed for the nation. We forgot that somewhere along the way.

The phrase "Constitutional Republic" has somehow left the lexicon.

Along with the thought that maybe we'd want to put de Toquevilles thoughts on the fall of the Republic into practice. Just as a test of course.

Instead of talking about race issues we need to be talking about job creation, lets get busy O'bama!

Republics fall for a reason.

Unfortunately.

More is the pity.

Sir: "The Decline of the West" is not about just that, but about all High Cultures.

They all devolve into absolutism.

That is what America is doing now.

It is not something that can be stopped.

Just so's you'll know, the Rev. Wright deal did not slow down Obama. He recieved $40million from new/small donations in March. This guy is on a roll. Ready or not I say he is the next President of the US. If you right wing retards don't like it you only have yourselves to blame. McCain raised eleven million last month. He can't get anyone to give him money.

Where exactly is the money coming from?

So we're a republic whose representatives are elected through a democratic process (current president excluded, of course). You can't divorce our republic from the democratic principals on which it was built.

I don't think anybody's forgotten anything. Ask around. Everybody'll tell you we vote for people who then make the decisions in DC. It's not like we wake up every morning and click into VoteNet.gov and say yea or nay to whatever bills are up for grabs. People understand how it works, even if they mix up the words.

What have we forgotten, Ish? This has been an ongoing theme of yours for years, and I've thought about it myself from time to time, but don't understand why it's under your skin so much. Regardless that people use the words interchangably, it hasn't changed anything about the way things are.

Or has it? What's your worry?

You really want to talk about job creation numbers? Bush's best quarter was lower than Clinton's worst quarter for job creation.

80,000 jobs lost in March., 20,000 more than 60,000 that was predicted.

Yeah, let's talk about job creation.

Obama has little to do with it, yet. You remind me of the brain-dead "not republicans" chanting about the 'do nothing' congress before they were even sworn in.
