Chicago Litogether 2008 After Action Report

Will do. That would be fun if we could get a handful of people out. The band is pretty enjoyable and plays some fun dance stuff, so if it's not too far it would be worth the trip (although the Litsters are always worth the trouble).

See, I'd totally dig going to one of your gigs if I was in the area. I kinda miss that hanging around on the edges of the stage thing... (not hanging out backstage because I never made it to play someplace that HAD a backstage, ya know?)

I know that feeling far too well. My old band played bad gig after bad gig, only to start turning it around a couple of months before the end. We did a 4th of July gig (after 10,000 Maniacs) for about 50,000 people, then broke up. Welcome to the wonderful world of Rock & Roll.

That's good, 'cause quacking you up means a smile or a laugh and I really liked watching you do either. :rose::kiss:

Aw, sweetie... That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me all day.

Hell no! We need another Amtrak story! :D :p :D

'Course you can tag along with me silly woman!

Hey! I'm writing a story about it now. Isn't that enough?

Wow. That is something I could never do...get up in front of 50K people and put on a show

My favorite part were the camera crews. Two of them running around stage, broadcasting to a giant screen TV. It really made you feel like a professional. Funny thing about a big crowd (OK a huge crowd), They're so far away from you that it was actually less stressful than some other gigs. The only downside was that I forgot to bring my camera (I left it in the car), so got no pictures. I do have video. I'll have to put it on DVD some time. It was pretty insane.

Hmmmm damn...have ridden Amtrak quite a bit and can actually say...no real stories [well besides the time I ended up jacking off in the lavatory thanks to a friends text messages]

Three kittens and one papa bear heading to Chi-town to rock down with the S-Des.

Poor papa won't know what hit him. ;)

*shakes head in confusion or amazement*

Was that an invitation or were you refering to some other furry beast?

Oh, VM. You're so cute. How you gonna get all the way over here from Cali?

Papa bear is someone else. You're snuggle bear.

*blushes in relief* Thank-you, I was concerned for a minute there. Chicago can manage very well without me until Chi-3. Besides, I have some very important post birthday/anniversary snuggling to do on this end. You all have fun, now, y'hear?

Meh -shrugs- Besides the fact that its easy to see a hardon when wearing jeans...not so much. Train lavatories happen to be more spacious than thier airline counterparts :D

True, I am glad I'm not much bigger than I am. I would have gotten stuck in the one last week if I was.

Oh bugger off! You're not that big...nowhere close! Though I will say the airline ones were designed for people Kat's size

Thanks but yes, I am. :p And yes, they were. Even the male attendants were talking about how small they were.
