Have you ever been just totally turned on by someone's voice? I don't mean while you're in bed together, or having phone sex, just talking. Just listening to their voice gets you aroused. They could be talking about the weather, how their day at work went, whatever. Or maybe it's just me ....?

It's not just you-. I love deep, rumbly voices such as James Earl Jones, Barry White and Trace Adkins. I also love the raspy voiced singers such as Rod Stewart and Bob Seger and Bonnie Tyler and Bonnie Raitt. But the best voice I ever heard was from a woman I used to work with about 7 years ago. She had one of those smoke and whiskey voices that could make the damn telephone book sound sexy.

That's funny. I think it happens to a lot of people.........Most people think I have a great voice. I stopped recording messages for my answering machine because men were calling just to hear my voice. I've had wrong numbers ask for my 'real' number or call back just to hear my voice. Every male I know loves to hear me talk. I even thought about starting a phone sex business.

The first thing I fell for was Master's voice as we spoke on the phone before we met. He has such a deep, rumbly voice and it does incredible things to me. The voice is can be so under-rated, sexually or not. I have a friend I'd listen to reading a phone book. When someone has an attractive or nice voice it's easy to listen and I think that adds to the quality of conversations -- and quanity too.

It's funny, many people I know say that they love accents. I'm not a huge fan of accents - especially if it's strong and I need to concentrate when listening to them! Having said that, the thick Australian accent is one of the worst! Some times I wish I could change the way I sound!

Long ago

I used to be a huge, shameless phone slut, and I confess I got a lot of mileage out my accent. A number of women became curious when they found out I was a transplanted Aussie.

And yes, certain women can definitely drive me nuts with their voices as well. All else being equal, I tend to favor a neutral Yank accent, and maybe Scots or Irish. Way more important, though, is the passion, the expressiveness of a woman's voice.

Fun memories, but it's much more fun having a partner that I really feel connected with.

As a matter of fact .... I do. Chandler was my favorite character. Our sense of humor was/is very similar. When used right, sarcasm is your friend. Of course, it doesn't always transfer over well in text.

I haven't found a voice that could do this to me in anyone I really know too well. There is this girl I see around campus every once in a while who has the most beautiful voice I think I have ever heard. It's fairly alto and wonderfully sensual. I could listen to her talk all day, I bet. As is, I've only ever talked to her a couple times and it isn't usually more than a couple words each time. But, wow, she has the most incredible voice.
