So if Clinton wins the primary, and Obama wins the caucus . . .

Winning isnt enough.

Hillary has to win BIG because the loser gets almost as many delegates as the winner when the results are close.

In Texas delegates are apportioned based on how your district votes in elections. Hillary's voters usually vote Republican, so she gets less delegates; Obama's voters usually vote Democrat, so he gets more delegates.

She wins the popular vote and he wins the delegates.

Delegates count.

Which is why Michigan and Florida delegates will be seated. She won them.

;) ;)

I dont see it happening before the convention.

A local Clinton supporter went to court about it. The federal district court tossed out his lawsuit, but the federal appeals court accepted the case. The majority of the judges on the appeals court are Republicans.

John McCain wants to run against Hillary. The Republicans want to help her make it happen.

no one trusts the COLORED CANDIDATE to control THE BUTTON

especially a MUSLIM COLORED CANDIDATE:D

As a Litster living outside the US who has a keen interest in politics, can someone tell me the reason for the primaries and THEN to have an elecction on top of it?

The Clintons have a scab to pick at. Oh, they'll go there, it's the Hero of the Day, the MAN who nailed Scooter and proved the Bush Administration lies, hides, obfuscates, keeps, secrets, yes, precious, secrets...

Now, the new Hero of the Day has secrets too...

;) ;) It's gonna git good! And doin' good got's no end when it comes to Hill and Bill... *spit*

And if it looks like he's chum, the rules will simply be changed.

IT'S THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY! Raise your hands if you want new rules, 1, 2, 3, 4, tell that you love me more...

When we didn't have I-70, it gave the whole country a chance to vette candidates from outside their region. Now it's a winnowing process where cash is power, power is message, and message is overwhelming...

Who do we want answering the phone?

Of course, once the primaries are over, I expect John to begin running the same commercial...

The NY Times will scream "[tone=flaming gay]Plagerism![/tone]"...

I tried to make this point earlier in another thread. All of Hillary's "strengths" play right into McCain's hands. Her experience is going to run right into McCain's 22 years in the senate and four in the house. I think it may be a case of "anything you can do I can do better" with only social positions differing the two

Admit it. You want to fuck Michelle Obama.

When the COLORED CUNT, aka, STINKY PUSSY, said she wsnt proud of her country

I said there would be a backlash

Now America has stuck it to the COLORED CUNT, aka, STINKY PUSSY, and the COLORED CANDIDATE

Now the COLORED CUNT, aka, STINKY PUSSY, can squeal all she wants about us being RACIST!

NO!

We dont dislike THE COLOREDS, we just dont like the COLORED CUNT, aka, STINKY PUSSY, and the COLORED CANDIDATE, especial the MUSLIM COLORED CANDIDATE:D

Exactly. She won two battles but still is losing the war. She won 158 delegates last night, Obama won 156...51% to 49%.

She needed to win 65% to close the gap, and those were two huge states.
She's running out of big states so the mathematical odds of her winning the nomination are dwindling. Obama can just run out the clock and then annihilate McCain in November.

A loss in either Texas or Ohio would have meant the end of Hillary's bid for the Presidency. She didn't lose, but she didn't win by enough of a margin to really make a difference in the delegate count, it's a wash and Obama is still leading in overall delegates.

It's well known that a good number of Republicans in the Texas and other open primaries tossed a vote to Clinton that will not go to her in the general election because they want her to run against McCain rather than Obama. Even so, her win is so razor thin even with pseudo-Democrats supporting her in the primaries so as not to matter.

Barring dramatic unforeseen circumstances Hillary simply can't catch up to Obama in delegate count. Obama still maintains his nearly 100 delegate lead going into state primaries with electorates favorable to him. It is almost a political and mathematical certainty that Obama will have an elected delegate lead at the end of the primaries.

As far as the Florida and Michigan delegates are concerned I don't believe they will be seated for the convention. To do so would show that the Democratic party, the Clinton campaign in particular, are no better than the Republicans when it comes to changing the rules to suit their own needs and would very likely drive disillusioned voters into either not voting in the Presidential race at all in protest or into voting for the Republican candidate just to spite Hillary.

Yep.

Hillary 'won' 3 states last night, and Obama still has the delegate advantage.

Hillary has become Huckleberry

Yes, of course. She's what we want. A pied-piper leading us to the gas chambers, blowing a catchy tune on her horn.

A menopausal messiah.

The method to the madness is: If Hillary wins dirty & ugly the blacks sit the election out. MaCain then brings them home to the party of Lincoln.
