Okay ladies and gents! This is my designated fluff thread of the day.

Inquiring minds wanna know what your daily luggage is and what you have in it! No bank account numbers please, and cash amounts are none of our businesses, but please, tell us what you got there! I'll be back shortly to do mine.

I have a big black bag. In it is my wallet with lotsa cards. I've got my safeway card and my drivers license and my military id and the petco card and my blockbuster card, and bunches of business cards and pictures and stuff. I have two chap sticks and one lip gloss. Their's a tiny deodorant, cause sometimes I forget to put it on in the morning. Their's a tiny hand sanitizer, too. My keys. Um, several bank slips, my notepad (I need a new one, this one's getting full). Last years calender (need a new on of those, too). Three pens, one of which doesn't work (now it's in the trash). Garbage. Bottle of water. The kids gameboys and their games. Bunch of dirty pennies (D spilled his chocolate milk in there). Some mail. Stamps. Glasses cleaner wipes. Health diary. The kitchen sink.

ETA: In my car I also have a brush, a scrunchy, a clippy, lotion and wet wipies. I like to be prepared.

Tri-fold wallet made of dead animal.

Various small plastic sheets with magnetic data strips on the back. Some plastic sheets with pictures. Some paper sheets with pictures. Lots of pieces of paper to represent money going out. Some paper sheets with contact info on them, mine and others. Some funky green paper that dwindles as fast as it it accumulates.

Some of those paper sheets are tangible evidence of moments in time. More valuable than the rest, they are.

The are too tiny to have very much in them but I carry money, my phone, car key and house key and a seperate key ring with a 3D pic of my eldest son on it.

What else would I need?

If I am with a Dom he can carry anything else I may need in his pockets in his pockets for me, can't he???

Generally I carry everything is this really cool balck canvas bag that looks like a giant dice bag. It's got "gamer." written on it in "typewriter" font. I carry just about anything I could need in there most of the time.

My wallet (carried in said bag) houses lots of plastic cards (don't get excited, they aren't plastic money--mostly supermarket discount cards), my library card, and some odds and ends.

The bag generally stays in the car though. It just has som much stuff in it! lol!

Yeah, mine stays in the car, too. My wallet is big enough that I can put all the necessary stuff in it - including my phone. I just grab it when I'm running in somewhere. I only take it if I'm gonna be away from my car for an extended period of time and might need something in it.

My purse right now is a large black leather bag with silver studs on it....(Think stepped off a Harley..) i have my wallet, Organizer, makeup enough to do everything plus extras, hairbrush, tampons, spray gel, travel size deodorant, pens, etc...etc...

My phone and my smokes go in my pocket.

The best silver 60s purse ever! I got it last spring and am totally enamored with it. It's silver so it goes with everything. It doesn't look huge but if you open it there are three wonderfully large pockets it put stuff in. In the first pocket I keep touch-up makeup (powder, lipstick), a comb, and my ipod. In the middle pocket (the only one with a clasp) I keep my wallet, keys, phone, change purse, my nail, and most often lots and lots of receipts. In the last pocket I keep various important papers, directions, maps, etc.

Best purse ever.

I was carrying a fab vintage bag, but the strap needs to be repaired. So at the moment I am back to my classic black Gucci. No logo. Just basic black.

Inside: iphone, lipstick red wallet, keys, a few business cards and occasionally lipstick.

And yes, men carry them. At least at the airport they do. These are NOT laptop cases: They hang on the shoulder and carry other stuff, just like girl purses.

Purses are one of my passions and today, i am carrying a beauty:

inky, midnight-blue patent leather shopper by Elliot Lucca (bought for a song!).

The straps are braided leather intertwined with the loveliest, lightest weight black oiled chain.

Inside: dooney and bourke zebra wallet and matching cosmetic bag with all my girly shit in it (blush, lipgloss, perfume), cellphone, lighter, pen i lifted from a store in Kansas, and a book.

Yeah, it's kinda heavy.

Sometimes, I have a couple of classics, different designers, incredibly well made, the majority have been 'gifts' and they don't seem to date, helps that they are indestructible . The wallet has dated though, remember when vuitton brought out the funky version with the pale pink flowers over the standard pattern, ahuh. It's the thought that counts right ?

I actually do use my laptop case for this. I would dare say that I've carried it sans laptop more than con laptop. It's just an excellent way to carry the profusion of books, music, papers, folders, and some minor spare clothing* that I prefer in a carry-on.



* - I've flown many, many time sin my life. After having my luggage lost once on a trip to Burbank, I tend to carry a spare shirt, shorts, and socks in my carry-on. Safer that way, as it at least gives me some sort of back-up.

The front pocket of the messenger bag I carry for work is my weekday "purse". It has: work id on it's Happy Bunny lanyard, comb, scrunchie, sunscreen, lip gloss, pressed powder, change, spare keys, Zune and headphones. But sometimes my Zune lives in the main part of the bag. It also has a zippery wallet clutch thing with money, credit card, library cards, car insurance card, various other ids that I need and a pile of reciepts and movie stubs.

Weekends I've been using the black satin chinese take out box purse with silver faux embroidery or the black clutch with the silver chain/black ribbon strap. It has (when I'm using it) powder, lipstick, comb, id, credit card, money and rubbers.

The Jeep carries one which I call the backup and pretty much turns into the change the baby on the go station in the back seat. The other one goes into the store with us and inclues my wallet which of course has 6 pictures of the baby, one of us at a football game and one of me with my father. I've got every card from my social security (which I think I'm not supposed to carry) the every useful library card, a clear credit card which freaks me out daily because..well damn it's clear and I don't see it at first and think I've lost it. I have change and cash but never use them because they are for emergencies that don't take credit or bank cards.

I also carry mentos (strawberry flavor currently), a brush, the cell phone, no room for make up or chap stick although i would if I could fit it in there, various bibs, backup clothes for the baby (I just recently stopped carrying a back up shirt for myself) extra food, bottles, and yes...Nipples...two binkies whipes and hand lotion, tissues, a drink for myself and water to make the bottles with.

I miss carrying something smaller than a gym bag. The one time I left the above backup bag which carries all the changing items....at home...I got a very special wet spot to show for it. *pouts*

I don't bother to go to the purse section but I long to. I used to have phases of wanting something with all the compartments and then would get frustrated and switch to something that was more like a black hole.

I'm surprised it can hold so much it doesn't look that big!

it's called the bag of holding... because it holds all of that.. but isnt really that big

Oh my. I have way too many purses to count. But lately I've been carrying my black leather Kathy Van Zeeland purse with all these silver studs and buckles on it. And inside I have a matching wallet with way too much in it to list. But I also carry my make-up case, cell phone, keys, hair brush, compact mirror, glasses case, hand cream, my portable cell phone charger since the battery in my phone SUCKS, my Zune, a couple pens, my employee nametag, tampons of course, gum, and lots of notes and lip gloss.

I love my purses.

Oh, and lipstick.
