Siggy - "Angel"

All kinds of me on youtube - some good, some hilarious, some downright nauseating...

This is a video a friend of mine made on her camera during my junior year of high school. Its not exactly me saying hi.... but it is a demonstration of a unique skill I have!

I know the video is out of sync and shitty and such, but you know... Anyway, here I am:

Okay, you're cute.

The nose thing is creepy, though.

I believe thats the point.

I used to dream of running away with the circus so I learned a few circus skills. I am a Human Blockhead, I can walk on glass, I can escape from a strait jacket, and I can spin plates.

Cool!

That nose thing is definitely creepy.

And oh oh ohhhhh!!! My new digital camera has sound-recording on the video part (my old one didn't), so I can contribute!!

Now to think of what to say.... lol

Oh MA GAWD! I just spent the last 15 minutes singing along with you. Great song selections on the karaoke. :)

I thought it was cool Syd - that and you're visually stunning. I could stare at you all day in that platonically fascinated and appreciative way.

"Hi Jade" I hope you feel better.:rose:

Sorry, My digital cam is broken so I can't make any videos...

I am still drooling after seeing little jade's...

I should take you to parties with me.

A great idea, it is lovely to both see AND HEAR the folks I have interacted with in text alone so far. As soon as I can figure out how to get the mic working on my cam I will post up one of myself.

**Here I am, a brain the size of a planet, and I can't even get a stupid BUILT IN microphone to work...Duh**

Thanks to y'all who have posted so far.

I am on Youtube, but I tend not to post in English, only in ASL.

You're just lovely--and you have a very expressive face.:rose:
Aw, thank you!

Here is the text of what I said, BTW:
Hey there! I'm coming to you from my guest bathroom. Why would I be here, because it's a pretty room? No, it's for a few different reasons. First, my wife is sleeping, so the bedroom light is off. I need light to film anything. Also, the background is empty - I prefer a dark background, but this is the one I've got. The third reason - wait, there isn't a third reason, nevermind.

If you've already read my blog tonight, you know that my cat is sick. It's the same one you saw recently, named Wu. But now I want to introduce my other cat, Toadstool. She is the most evil cat ever!

Did you see that? She got really pissed! How about that page turning effect, that was cool, huh? I downloaded a program called Ulead Video Studio which has a one-month trial, but the price after that is $100, yikes.

Okay, now it's midnight, and I want to finish filming and get this uploaded and go to bed. Goodnight, bye now!

That's really interesting, Etoile- I've always wanted to learn sign language. Are you hearing impaired, or is someone close to you hearing impaired? Or is it just a skill that you've learned and embrace?

The deaf world is pretty much my life, but I am actually hearing myself. I began learning sign language when I was 4, and I've been in touch with the community ever since! Everybody I work with is deaf, everybody I go to school with is deaf...it's basically my whole life, even though I happen to be able to hear.

And not even that is as good as it could be! I had a scuba diving accident in October 2006 and I'm supposed to find out soon how badly it affected my hearing...but it was definitely affected. I don't hear as well as I used to! But fortunately, being surrounded by deaf people ALL THE TIME, I am prepared for whatever the news may be. :)

I work with the hearing impaired- most of our clients aren't completely deaf, but use hearing aids, or assistive listening devices. Most don't use sign language- they just yell. *grin*

Ha, thanks, I'm glad you liked it! Its fun to gross people out but its also great when someone just thinks its a cool act. And I'm a ham, so by all means, stare away! :)

Etoile, I've said it before, but you are beautiful! Completely gorgous.
And knowing your involvement with the hearing impaired only makes my crush on you grow. *blushes*

*reminds self to upload something to YouTube!*

It's okay to say deaf, 90% of deaf people call themselves deaf, and the ones who can hear a little usually say they are hard of hearing...very few people actually say "hearing impaired" except hearing people! :)
