There are plenty of ways you can dip a toe in the water. If you have internet on your cell you can google munches and local BDSM groups. I'm sure there are a few people here who know places to go in California.

Most people (though by no means all) start off by experimenting with a partner they trust and see whether they like kink enough to base a relationship around that.

If you're single and interested then I'd suggest googling a munch. It wouldn't be fair to post a kinky personal until you are sure that it's what you want for a relationship - you don't sound as though you are. You could just advertise for a playmate but that kind of this is oversubscribed with single men.
