Traveler IQ Challenge

fun but would be a bit easier if map was large enough to actually see

Cool (although I agree with the criticism about the map). I surprised myself, clicking somewhere randomly if I had no clue about where the country in question was even at, almost every time I ended up very close to the location. Only goes to show I can trust my instincts, after all :D

That was fun, and informative.

3339,500, level 10, travel IQ of 108.

There are other ones to play down underneath the starting screen, too.

I managed to go up to 11 a couple of times. Travel IQ 117.

Bumping, 'cos this site has become a fast favourite of mine and the wife.

It's also been winging it's way to loads of family and friends who are all enjoying it.

Thanks witchey.

Cool. The map could be larger (even though it still ain't gonna help me find Togo or differentiate between Uzbekistan and Kazhakstan), but it's still fun.

1st go-round: 411,467
Level: 10
Traveler IQ: 116

Gonna show this to the kids. I think it's great. Only made it to level 8 first time, but I think I would have done better (speedwise) with a mouse. STILL not entirely comfortable on the touchpad.

I echo the size thing too...

Played twice, TIQ of 119 both times, need to stop now before I fixate on getting to round 12. (Showing off: I got within 19km of Iqaluit!)

H

I figure I did alright. Travel IQ of 108, made it to level 10.

But my mouse isn't all that accurate (yeah, that's the problem . . . uh-huh . . . )

I noticed that, too. Sometimes it slides halfway across the globe. :catroar:

Don't grease your mousepad, then ;)

Funny; the only reason I was able to pinpoint Albania was because of an episode of "Cheers." Soon as I saw the name, I heard Coach's voice:

"Al-ban-i-a, Al-ban-i-a/
You border on/
The Adriatic . . . ."

Have any of you tried the other options listed below the game box?

The flags one will drive you insane! Who knew so many countries use a variation of red/white/blue??

And of course the ones specific to Asia or USA or Europe are very........stimulating.

BWAH! :D

You still remember that, too?

(Do you remember what their chief export is?)

I need to try this thing - not until after work, though.

:)
