Missing Author!

I'm looking for user name Daniellekitten. I've read her stories and loved them exceedingly. Now I find that when I click on her user name in the stories listings, I get an error message saying "This member does not exist." And when I click on her stories to read them, I get taken back to the Lit index page.

Please tell me that there is something wrong with the site! Please tell me that my suspicions are not correct! Please tell me that Daniellekitten hasn't left Lit and taken her stories with her!

I'm sorry.

I have so many wonderful, incredible fans that are true and loyal to my work and leave me honest feedback which sometimes might hurt a bit, but I appreciate their constructive criticism.

Last night, I sat in front of my computer and bawled, I mean actually sobbing, couldn't breathe, my eyes are still gooked up bawling. I am under attack and this is something I don't deserve. There are two individuals, Scouries and BostonFictionWriter that are running amuck through Literotica. They are scaring away readers as well as writers with their harsh words and nastiness.

Now a lot of you will say, but we love you, don't let the haters chase you away. When was the last time you felt so under attack that you sat and bawled. If I say anything to the two of them, I am acknowledging their words and falling to their level. I have been accused of cheating on my husband by both those individuals. I have been accused of cheating on contests and having a hell of a lot of power through literotica. I wish I did have that power because Freedom of Speech or not, they would no longer be allowed on the site.

I am pulling my work. I won't be putting anything else out for free anywhere. I'm sorry, those two individuals have hurt me badly and I won't let anyone else have that opportunity. You want to attack my work, have at it, but I don't deserve a personal attack of that magnitude. Literotica as a site won't do anything about it. I will.

Oh no, don;t do that. Acknowledging them and what they've done gives them power. We're all trying desperately to just ignore them and hope they'll give up and go away. If they do, then perhaps Danielle will come back. Why not help us spread the word - Scouries? never heard of them...

I wrote a comment to her, encouraging her to come back. I suggest you guys that are fans write to her as well. I told her the same thing you said, deleting your account is in fact a direct reply to those jerks. Hopefully she comes back, if she's let down by Lit then so be it, let her post on another site. I'll gladly read her anywhere. But I certainly hope she doesn't stop for good.

You call on them to defend their honor, but they don't have any to defend. They are cowards who level baseless and vile accusations at authors who are exploring the realms of sexual fantasy through the safe and exciting world of the written word. These (pardon the lack of profanity, but it wouldn't do any good) useless pieces of excrement have scared off a wonderful writer. I'm beginning to wonder who else they have scared off, because DrkSideOfTheMoon has pulled all of his writing and is no longer taking comments. And all this before he finished his Montana Summer series, which was in it's 16th chapter and had a fantastic plot line going.

I think, honestly, that Literotica should get off of their collective asses and start policing their own site and protect the writers who dedicate so much of their time and creativity (the very stuff that makes Literotica a site worth visiting.) As it stands, I'm seriously thinking of removing my membership, since they are losing some of their best authors. If their authors can't be protected, the site is not going to last much longer.

She left with tears in her eyes, rather than a smile upon her lips. They wanted her to leave and she has, so they won. She left with tears upon her cheeks, which added a victory to their win.

I shall not soil the great name of Daniellekitten. Let her go into the archives of Literotica as one of the best writers to have ever graced this site. Let there be a Hall of Fame created just for her and her works. She has earned it.

So what if I'm dramatic? Dramatic works. Besides, I tend to think deep about such things, which brings out the drama and all that.

Anyways, you're explanation works too. Although I would probably argue a few points with you, I'm not going to because it's late where I am and I'm tired. But I will say one more thing before leaving:

Contact those reclusive admins that run this bloody site (Leural and Menu, or whatever the $&#* their names are) and let them know what the #&!@ is happening! There is a certain point in terms of Free Speech that has to be maintained, and those two admins have not done that. Sure, they protect against spam and advertising and all that annoying stuff. But what about the stuff that hurts? The trolling, the harassing, the bullying, etc.? The stuff that made Daniellekitten leave? What about that stuff? What are those admins doing about it? Apparently NOTHING! They SHOULD be doing SOMETHING about it! Like NOT ALLOWING IT to take place!


Whew...sleep-deprivation rant. Okay, that's done. Good night. I'll check back in tomorrow to see what's developed.

Several others have contacted her, seeking a muzzle for the asshats.
