Ok so i figured I'd throw out a welcome sign to new and old.

If you're new to AmPics, have just started posting pics or are thinking of doing so, welcome, drop in, say hello.

If you have any questions about AmPics threads, or the like and such, ask away, I'm sure someone here will be able to help.

If you're an old time poster like some of us here, well you don't really need a welcome do you, lol.

Hi gisella, not sure what you umean, I don't see that under our nicks, although that may be because of the format I am viewing Lit in. I know I've seen a points box under my nick on CK's though whchi I view in a completely different format to what I see Lit in. No idea what it's for there either though.

Ok, I have a question,

How can I place links to all my pics into the first post, so that people don't have to search thru the entire thread?

I tried figuring out the code, and maybe my mind just isn't going to compute it properly right now or something..

You will need to open the pic first, copy the link. Then open your first post as an edit. At the top of the message there's a icon of a globe with a link underneath it. Click on it and a small pop up box appears, you can then either enter text as a description for the link say something like "Pic XXXX" or click cancel. Another pop up will appear that you can then paste the link into. Click ok and it should appear in the message post your about to post.

It kind of helps to have your first post open in edit more as one page and the restof your thread in another window so you can copy and paste the links in without having to continually go back and reopen the first post in edit mode.

If that makes no sense, I'd suggest you wait around for a more simpler more coherant explanation or possible post the same question in the How To fourm, they're pretty good at answering question there.

Thanks, that is much easier than typing out the code, my issue is I changed the *skin* To this forum and didn't get the link box, and it was driving me f'n nutty.

RS my baby had done my index linking the pics to numbers, but I thought it was kind of hard to go threw all of the pics since everyone has a diferewnt taste and wants to look at just specific things...and since lit had deleted someo of my pics i started working on my pic index and I did it like this...

I went tomy first post and clicked edit, I made up categories, like my ass, my breasts and so forth... than I opened another page with my thread, and started opening pics, and copying thelinks, as I went along i would copy the linkto the pic and just paste it in the edit post...than click save changes...its a good idea to save often in case u need to log out for some reason u do not want to loose all your work.... hope this helps...

My index is completed now, (up till yesterday's post, and I intend to keep updating it as I go so I don't have to work through pages of it once again, whew that was irritating.

But I did make categories, breasts, face..ect. So it's easier for people to find what they like.

Wow, I'm really amazed this thread got bumped after sleeping dormant for 5 years.

I did just check out your posts EM and you seem to have eased into Lit with no problems. You could always start a hello thread here or on the PG. I'd simply suggest just jumping in, people here are pretty friendly (most of the time, lol)
