I know the pic of my AV upsets someone I care about deeply...he really hates when I show myself off and some times I respect his wishes, but when I am being naughty...I don't.

Well it all depends on the parameters of the relationship. One learns from and figures out what it is works for them. In my case I do need to please Him. Have I made errors? Of course, but I learn from them.

I don't agree with what someone said that if you were submissive you'd just sort of "know" it and not be questioning if you were.
Maybe some people do just know.
I believe many don't. In my case I'd never put the words together with my nature before. I do lead a life of some power and leadership.
Also the first time power exchange turned me on, it was shocking because I was the one in charge. I've never sought power. I've always turned away from it whenever I could.
The second time someone else had the power and that turned me on even more.
Still, for a while I didn't know if I were a Top, a Switch or a Sub. It's very confusing at first when you are exploring. That's why it takes doing some things and time to figure it out for at least some.
