"Honey, what are you doing in there? Why is the door locked?"
"I'm just, uh...polishing my award."

Go back to when my posts were sincere requests for help... before the condescension and piling on. You might have a better understanding then.Based on what little I've read of your posts here, I'm amazed that anyone would ever choose to be a "jerk" to you. I commisserate.
Just... one of life's inexplicable mysteries, I suppose. For the life of me, I can't figure it out.
The actual OP hasn’t commented since the first post (their one and only post here). That seems to happen a lot. Maybe they didn’t like the responses. Maybe they got bored and moved on.
Maybe, instead of having a tantrum, they figured out why they got the rejection.

You are as persistent as you are illogical. No, just people who've somehow figured out how to get stories posted here, then come into the AH to be helpful to others.
Your perception is obviously different, as is your approach to the site.

Good for you.My first submission was rejected. I was so upset, I cried like a baby. Then I got busy learning how to bring it up to standard and resubmitted it.
You will be missedGood for you.
My first submission was published and I've had rave reviews.
People are asking where they can go to read Chapter 2 when I leave this place.

I did say reviews right? We all know the rating system is a joke. Not sure if 4.55 is all that much to brag about...
That’s what I did with my stories that weren’t published without editing. Just took the advice left and reworked the paragraphs and quotes and did so with little to no content change. Seems like my work ended up better for it.Maybe, instead of having a tantrum, they figured out why they got the rejection.
We both know your question isn't simply curiosity.Out of curiosity, what are you waiting for?
Surely if you have another, better place to post it, you could do that anytime you wish to? You can post Chapter 1 there as well.
We both know your question isn't simply curiosity.
Nonetheless, I don't want Chapter 1 here.
I'll leave when they take it down.
Keep circling, the flesh is still too warm for your palate.
Your suspicion of me being an alt confirms for me the extreme level of dysfunction happening here. No, it's fine.
I just think your entire arc in this thread is really weird and illogical. I'm trying to figure out who you're an alt for, frankly. I think I've almost got it.
Don't mind me.

"I can't wait to see where this goes!" Here. It goes here. Then it stops. This is a standalone story.I read the reviews. Pretty standard fare, nothing I would characterize as a "rave" review. Commenters on Lit almost always ask for "more" even if you don't label it as part one.

I sent you my e-mail address. If you'd like, I can send you chapter 2 and let you judge for yourself.
What you were able to get published is miles beyond what mine was rejected for.
