The Comey Case Is a Comedy of Errors​

A few points of interest:

1. The Justice Department got a warrant to confiscate James Comey's computers. The scope of the warrant specifically indicated the scope of the investigation of his computer were to search for evidence of National Security violations. There were NO National Security violations and the National Security violations investigations were closed.
2. Trump wanted a political show trial for James Comey. Pam Blondi complied.
3. The Trump DOJ re-examined the contents of Comey's computer hard drives WITHOUT A WARRANT FOR "POLITICAL WITCH HUNT EVIDENCE" (which likely would have never been issued on such specious grounds) and found "evidence" that Comey did not like Trump. Horrors!
4. They also found a trove of emails between Comey and his personal lawyers discussing strategy about how to handle inquiries from the Department of Justice. These conversations protected by "attorney-client privilege" and virtually every lawyer in America except Trump attorneys (and Derpy) should have recognized this. Trump DOJ attorneys not only read them but selectively leaked them to "friendly" news organizations.

In summary:

1. This is a political witch hunt
2. The Trump legal team at the DOJ is competent
3. Derpy eats paste

Interesting side note on today's legal shenanigans, the judge began questioning the prosecutor about the previous prosecutor's formal declination to pursue charges against Comey. Where was the previous formal decline?

The prosecutor dissembled and issued vague theories about the existence of the formal decline, but the judge asked him directly, under threat of sanction, to answer the fucking question.

The prosecutor almost broke down in tears, admitting that the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Trump's political hack, had ordered him NOT to answer that particular question insofar as legally possible because the notice to decline DID exist and Blanche was seeking legal advice from top Heritage Foundation lawyers to claim some sort of "prosecutorial privilege" to deny the Federal courts access to the memo.

A complete disrespect for the Federal judiciary.
