But then when he was kicked out by Trump and as a result, he became an unabashed critic of Trump. Accordingly, he made ubiquitous appearances on CNN and MSNBC and so was loved by the left. Now that he has been indicted under the Espionage Act he became of no further use to the left. And so, he is ignored by both sides and is friendless.

I'm left wondering why the Biden DOJ didn't bring this case, if even half the allegations in the indictment are true.

Probably out of respect for the fact that Bolton was anti-Trump and a fellow deep state operative.
