Epstein was interested in 16-year-olds, 17-year-olds, 18-year-olds,” says Dershowitz, acknowledging that Epstein was nonetheless “a bad person, [who] did terrible, terrible things.”

“Number two: He was not a trafficker. Traffickers make money by selling and enslaving girls. What he did is he was a selfish guy who was having sex [or] sexual contact ... with all these 16-, 17-year-olds and maybe, maybe lending them to people like Prince Andrew. We don't know for sure,” he adds. “But he was not a trafficker in the true sense of the word. That's why there's no client list. There were no clients.”

As for the claim that Epstein was working undercover for the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, Dershowitz says it’s impossible. “He didn't work for the Mossad. I know that because I debriefed him when I was trying to make a deal for him back in 2007, and he would have told me ... if he was working for the government because it would have helped him get a clear, better deal.”

“He was furious at the deal, the sweetheart deal. He had to serve 18 months and get registered as a sex offender. When I helped him get that deal, he fired me, refused to pay my legal fees, and said I was the worst lawyer he ever had because he didn't think that was a particularly good deal,” he tells Glenn.

So besides posting this article, what is your opinion on whether Epstein was a pedophile?
 
To avoid confusion, there are two main efforts moving forward. First, the House investigation into all matters related to Jeffrey Epstein. Second, and more importantly, is the effort just launched by Attorney General Bondi to empanel a grand jury to investigate conspiracy charges tied to the Russiagate affair. This new investigation will be based in Fort Pierce, Florida, the site of the final actions in the alleged conspiracy against Donald Trump and his elections. This is the investigation Democrats fear most, as the trials will take place there, not in Washington, D.C., removing the advantage of a politically favorable jury pool.

I think in the common vernacular, he is referred to as a pedophile, but as the Professor points out the legal definition might be a bit different. I think, without question, he was a predator and a statutory rapist. Of course, the law treats any adult having sex with a minor as a crime. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), used by psychologists and psychiatrists, pedophilic disorder is defined as: A persistent sexual attraction to prepubescent children, typically 13 years of age or younger.

Congress can subpoena the Clintons and they have a right to refuse to answer questions just like anyone else does. Even if the committee cites them for contempt I doubt like hell the AG Pam Bondi would bother taking this to court.

HOWEVER, if the Republicans are smart (which they usually are not) they'd grant the Clintons full immunity in return for their testimony, something that voids their right to remain silent.

In that circumstance if they refuse to talk they can be jailed for contempt. Indefinitely.

I think you’re right. Nothing is going to come of this. The House GOP won’t grant the Clinton’s immunity and the Clinton’s will take the 5th.

Listen dummies. I might have referred to Epstein in the past as a pedophile myself, but that doesn't mean I was technically correct. I have never defended Epstein and don't now. Personally, I wouldn't care if he were burned at the stake.

Neither of you two clowns can read for comprehension. You have to be talked to like like you were two.
