In the middle of writing a story, I got stuck mid-sentence because I couldn't figure out how to write impropriety as an adjective.
Impropietous? Impropitious? Unpropitious?

Then I looked it up. Oh. Its improper.

...I knew that.

Please help my fragile ego and tell me I'm not the only one who gets stuck like this.

At least your step-Improprietarisaurus rex didn't find you while you were stuck and take advantage of you (by retyping your text).

Ha. I know exactly what this is like.

A lot of things become impossible once you start to think about them. Sometimes when I'm saying a word aloud, I realise it's just some random sounds and other people are supposed to understand what I mean. Or I might be walking along, and for some reason I become conscious of the act of walking, and it's impossible to walk naturally. Like I have to tell my legs how to move.

You're not the only one who gets stuck like this.

(What helps me; I get stuck on the college word, I try to figure out how I would say the same thing to someone who is only just learning English.)
