Western Civilization Depends On Men And Masculinity

Six foot six he stood on the ground
He weighed two hundred and thirty-five pounds
But I saw that giant of a man brought down
To his knees by a left wing feminist

Masculine man jobs?

Businesses are going to replace men with automation as it becomes available simply because it’s faster and cheaper.

Corporations have a responsibility to their shareholders to increase profits. They have no responsibility to hire people.

Crickets.🦗

None of you MAGA morons want to discuss all of the masculine man jobs that AI and robots are taking?

Surprise, surprise, surprise 😮

The only place I see robots doing masculine jobs is on YouTube. Are robots building new houses, bulldozing new freeways, drilling for oil, building ships, plumbing and wiring buildings?

From YouTube:

A robotic drilling rig that replaces a crew of 3-4 ‘masculine’ men with one ‘person.’

(This Colorado company already has two in operation. Six high-paying manly jobs gone.)

They're building humanoid robots for specialized tasks and think they've achieved something spectacular.

On a more serious note, she says having a boyfriend is no longer "considered an achievement", and isn't seen to make you any more - or less - of a woman in the way it might once have done.

She believes women are hesitating to post their partners because of the "patriarchy we live under, and how oppressive it is to women".

"A lot of women have been saying, it's cool to have a fiance. It's cool to have a husband," Joseph told BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour on Wednesday.

"It's not. We need to re-evaluate our relationship with men in this political climate."

So at its core, the article says that women are concealing the fact that they have a boyfriend because they want people to recognize them for their personal social achievements.

You know, personal social achievements like, oh I don't know, being successful as someone's life partner...

Honestly the whole idea of concealing who you're dating so people will recognize your accomplishments is kinda demented. And when I say kinda, I mean A WHOLE LOT OF demented.

@HisArpy is now doubting economic market forces. 😅

Actually, “they” are building humanoid robots to be able to perform an ever widening array of tasks. And since few jobs require all of a human’s potential, the abilities a robot needs to replace many human workers well within reach.

These aren’t fancy little underfoot roombas, they are house cleaners, gardeners, food prep, companions for elderly, dog walkers, store stockers …

How many human cashier jobs have recently been replaced by automatic check out lanes at grocery stores?

If you’ve played with AI you’re probably familiar with the way access is tiered depending on your subscription. Owners of androids will pay more for higher tiers of processing power (I.e. pay extra to keep your robot using the smartest program tiers.) Just like human jobs, not all tasks require the highest tiers of intelligence.

Why do some people seem to think the market won’t have a demand for androids among wealthy consumers who can afford convenience, luxury, and a status symbol they can show off?

As far as industrial robots go, Amazon has already announced hundreds of thousands of jobs being replaced by robots.

Feel free to keep your head in the sand.

Humans evolved to the physique we have because we're NON specialized creatures. We don't have fangs and claws because we don't need those to hunt with. We don't have pelts of thick fur because we don't need that to keep warm either. We're NON specialized and use tools to adapt to our environment and needs instead of being physically adapted to that environment/needs.

Yet for some STUPID reason people are creating humanoid robots and assigning them repetitive tasks while ignoring the FACT that a robot which is designed specifically to do a particular task will perform much better at it.

As for the market demand; right now the humanoid robots you're seeing either look like Transformers dragging power cables behind them, or are women wearing plastic body panels and faking it.

Good for you, Harpy.

You’re acknowledging that market forces don’t necessarily align with “the general welfare”.

It’s also notable that you understand androids are non-specialized robots. By mimicking human anatomy, androids are being specifically designed to replace humans for a broad range of tasks, including the operation of existing machinery already designed for a human operator.

Somehow your brain left the station between your ears.

That it's an exercise in self extermination.

But of course we'll never convince the mentally incompetent of that.

Right. Unfortunately we have Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos leading the way.

In other news a company that DJTjr is connected with has won some huge pentagon drone deals.

Q: What determines who an army of robots and drones is loyal to?

We have now entered Science Fiction Territory. Please don't adjust your dials, the spin and deflection cannot be stopped.

Didn't the robot industry begin with the vibrator? If that’s true, then artificial intelligence started with artificial satisfaction, so basically, the entire robotics field started because someone wanted a hands-free experience. Maybe KitKat can verify that. :D

On the contrary, it led to the election of Bathhouse Barry Obama and Joe "The Neutered" Biden.
And then the next president was a documented fraud and rapist... The Orange One.
(Also nick-named "Pele" because of his footwork at golf...)

But you can't buy her with a can of corn, so it's just you and your hand, sparky

Shouldn't this thread be on the GLBT forum?

Well, that's all right, then.
I'm sure the many, many women out there who report various appalling abuses are all a conspiracy.

Oh, and he *is* nicknamed "Pele" for his foot-action on the golf course.

Innocent until proven guilty. Getting it backward, like you're doing, is called defamation.
