I don't think there's anything wrong with pursuing a lady, but if you're only being nice to get some pum pum, then you're not really a nice guy. I want to add if you constantly put a lady in an uncomfortable situation, where she has to constantly reject you by joking or trying to get past your advances, then you aren’t respecting her and you definitely aren't platonic on your end.

A lot of friendships turn sexy and that is perfectly acceptable when it is what both parties want. What we are discussing, is when one party has made it very clear that they don’t want a sexual chat but the other will take an everyday chat and try to steer it in a sexual direction.
