The government shuts down. Another spectacular MAGA failure.

No, but you will shortly.

Nah uh, you!! 😆 You do a great impression of the Petulant Man-Baby president.

Maybe you should ask “Thun” for help with your next comment?

And why are you obsessed with Biden’s ass? Is this a new thing, or have you been obsessed with it for years? Do you dream about it?

Another typical Biden ass licking libtard reaction: PROJECTION!!!

Good job regurgitating the wacko propaganda you’ve been fed, sheep. 😆

I can see how properly delivered facts might cause you a bit of rectal discomfort; truth tends to chafe when you sit on it too long.

Only an intellectual midget like you would compare projection to doubling down.

Now you admitted you’re projecting. You’re not having a good day. Maybe it’s time for you to admit your Biden ass obsession has gotten out of hand.

When is “Thun” gOiNG nUcLeAr?

In 2021, a study in the American Journal of Medicine found some effectiveness for hydroxychloroquine if used early. But because Trump said it might work, therefore it automatically doesn't.

Emergency aid is a different ballgame, though I noticed that your leader funded blue areas but somehow forgot to fund western North Carolina. I guess that's what they deserve for not voting for him.
No, you didn't "notice" any such thing. You heard false propaganda and you believed it. Biden sent FEMA into NC and provided all the help that was available (which is a lot more than would be available if you got your wish list re: taxes, but that's beside the point).
But we shouldn't be establishing programs, restricting who benefits, then telling the states that it's their baby and then funding part of it for them. If we just left money in the states in the first place, they'd have more resources and we'd have less centralized power.
We would also have some states providing help only for people whom the majority there liked. Not a good plan at all.
In 2021, a study in the American Journal of Medicine found some effectiveness for hydroxychloroquine if used early. But because Trump said it might work, therefore it automatically doesn't.
The study you're referring to showed hydroxycloroquine did not in fact reduce risk of infection, and other studies also showed it was dangerous and also reduced the supply for cases where that drug was legitimately needed. And Trump didn't just "say it might work", he repeatedly sounded off about it at a time when people were desperate, leading directly to at least one death.

That is simply not true. Witnesses on-site (just a bunch of uneducated red-state hicks; what yould they possibly know aobut their own experience?) kept saying they were getting no help. Biden did not send FEMA in until very late, and FEMA did virtually nothing, according to people on the ground there.

But when the bridge collapsed in Baltimore, it was immediate.

it has sparked outrage in North Carolina. Many residents took to social media to question why similar federal aid was not provided after Hurricane Helene devastated their state in September last year, leaving more than 100 dead.

But you know better than the people who live there, right?
We would also have some states providing help only for people whom the majority there liked.
BS. Only hardcore blue ones.
The study you're referring to showed hydroxycloroquine did not in fact reduce risk of infection
Nobody said it prevented the infection, but that if used early, it has some effectiveness in treating it. Taht is true, and is supported by this study.

However, your cult did, in fact, claim that if you took the vaccine you wouldn't get COVID, despite the fact that people did.

Trump didn't just "say it might work", he repeatedly sounded off about it at a time when people were desperate, leading directly to at least one death.
Again, BS. Trump repeatedly said what was true, that it had some effectiveness in fighting COVID, and numerous people publicly stated that they took it and it worked for them. But again, you and your party think you know their experience better than they do.

Correction: according to the people in the news sources you use. That they were there doesn't necessarily mean they were telling the truth, and right wing media has a long and storied history of inventing things like this out of whole cloth.

No, but I do know better than to believe people who would say "Biden can't swim" if he walked on water.

It would be one thing if Trump had advised people to talk to a doctor about it. But that ain't what he did.
However, your cult did, in fact, claim that if you took the vaccine you wouldn't get COVID, despite the fact that people did.
Nope. That's not how vaccines work. They greatly reduce the risk of infection, but they don't eliminate it entirely. Most people who understand what vaccines are don't need that explained to them, however.
Again, BS. Trump repeatedly said what was true, that it had some effectiveness in fighting COVID,

His exact words were: “What do you have to lose? Take it." Nothing even a little bit nuanced about that. Trump is not a doctor, and plenty of doctors warned what he called for was dangerous. It could cause heart problems among other things.

The Lone House Democrat Who Thinks His Party Has the Shutdown All Wrong
Maine’s Jared Golden says his party is being pushed in the wrong direction by far-left groups

His vote to keep the government funded wasn’t a big surprise, but his commentary afterward made waves. In a statement on the first day of the shutdown, he accused Democratic leaders of falling prey to the demands of “far-left groups” who wanted them to “put on a show of their opposition to President Trump” while hurting Americans in the process.
“I’m not willing to shut down the government over healthcare subsidies for households making $300,000.”

according to the people in the news sources you use. That they were there doesn't necessarily mean they were telling the truth, and right wing media has a long and storied history of inventing things like this out of whole cloth.
According to WITNESSES WHO WERE THERE, and your assertion is simply false. You're describing the mainstream media.

On June 29, 2019 Ngo was brutally attacked by a group of masked counter-protesters—widely identified as Antifa members—during clashes between far-right groups (like the Proud Boys) and left-wing demonstrators in downtown Portland, Oregon. He was covering a Proud Boys rally and an Antifa counter-protest organized by Rose City Antifa. (Wait—I thought there was no Antifa organization.) The Antifa thugs told Ngo to stop videoing them and he refused, so they violently attacked him.

The assault was near-fatal and left him with a subdural hematoma (brain hemorrhage.) The incident was captured on video by witnesses, including fellow journalists, and went viral.

Around 4 p.m., as the groups converged at Pioneer Courthouse Square, Ngo was filming when a mob of 10–12 black-clad, masked individuals (wearing typical Antifa attire like helmets and gloves) surrounded him. They punched and kicked him in the head and face multiple times. They hit him with a hard-edged plywood sign and carbon-hardened tactical gloves. They threw "milkshakes" (later revealed to contain quick-drying cement), eggs, and possibly pepper spray at him. They stole his GoPro camera and phone. They chased him as he tried to flee, shouting threats like "Get him!" and "Die, maggot!" Ngo livestreamed as much of it as he could.

The video, filmed by Oregonian reporter Jim Ryan and others, showed the unprovoked nature of the assault—Ngo wasn't fighting back or provoking physically. Key clips from Ryan showed the mob dousing Ngo in milkshake, punching him, and chasing him. Portland Mercury reporters saw Antifa handing out "milkshakes" in branded cups beforehand. John Blum and Adam Kelly, two other conservatives attacked nearby, corroborated the violence, with Blum suffering facial fractures. (You and your cult fully support this.)

On Twitter/X, users like @MZHemingway and @realDailyWire shared real-time threads and videos, amplifying witness perspectives. A judge awarded Ngo $300,000 by default.

No such people exist, but people like you would say that about Trump if he walked on water. If Trump cured cancer, you'd scream about the loss of research funding.
It would be one thing if Trump had advised people to talk to a doctor about it. But that ain't what he did.
What he said was accurate, and he knew people who had used it.

Michigan State Rep. Karen Whitsett, a black Democrat representing Detroit, tested positive for COVID-19 in late March 2020. She credited HCQ (combined with azithromycin) for her rapid recovery, saying symptoms eased within two hours of taking it. She explicitly thanked Trump for highlighting the drug, noting she might not have asked for it otherwise. Whitsett, a freshman lawmaker and community activist, shared this on Fox News and in interviews with outlets like the Detroit Free Press.

Daniel Dae Kim posted on Instagram that HCQ, plus other meds like Tamiflu and azithromycin, helped him feel "practically back to normal" after testing positive.

In a video in July 2020, America's Frontline Doctors (a group of MDs) said HCQ was a safe, effective cure.

Joe Rogan took ivermectin + monoclonal antibodies; "felt better in one day"

Dr. Pierre Kory (FLCCC): "I’ve treated hundreds—ivermectin saves lives"

Dr. Tess Lawrie (Bird Group, UK): Meta-analysis of 15 trials → 62% mortality reduction

The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh distributed ivermectin kits. Cases dropped 97% in weeks.

Regional health ministries in Peru, Mexico and Zimbabwe used Ivermectin early and reported success.

THOUSANDS on X/Twitter and Telegram: " I was dying—ivermectin turned me around in 48 hrs”

But you and your cult think you know better than they do.
That's not how vaccines work. They greatly reduce the risk of infection, but they don't eliminate it entirely. Most people who understand what vaccines are don't need that explained to them, however.
Yet your cult repeatedly told us we couldn't get COVID if we got the shot.
His exact words were: “What do you have to lose? Take it." Nothing even a little bit nuanced about that. Trump is not a doctor, and plenty of doctors warned what he called for was dangerous. It could cause heart problems among other things.
Like the vaccine you forced on all of us. Like everything, it has side effects. But it also worked for some people, if used early, as the 2021 study in the Journal of American Medicine stated.
Cite please.
In March 2021, then-CDC Director Rachel Wallensky told MSNBC "Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick."

President Biden said in July 2021 "You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations."
Erm...yes, yes we do think we know more than them about, well, just about everything.
So you believe, but it's another false belief by your cult.

Oh Look, Maga found a Democrat willing to parrot the discredited "but but $300,000!" talk point.

The $300,000 income subsidy is a theoretical maximum that a couple with a dozen children all living in a remote corner of Alaska where healthcare is very limited.

A more realistic maximum for subsidies would be a two-earner household earning $150,000.

Without subsidies, insurance premiums are expected to rise about $1500 to $2000 per month for family coverage.

I can see how that would get you excited, given your wholesale devotion to "cruelty is the point".

Medical coverage should be a right for heterosexual Christian white men and their families, right?

You're a fucking nazi.

When one of your kids or grandkids gets a debilitating illness, I suspect you'll be talking out of the other side of your mouth.

I remember AJ braying he did not need no fucking required insurance, he had something BETTER: a TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR CASH RESERVE FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.

He found out a few years later that optic nerve cancer made that ten grand evaporate faster than a Trump promise.

Then he died.

I don’t care about what anyone on this board said or did. The House passed a clean CR in September. It’s gotten a majority vote in the Senate multiple times. It’s time for Democrats to stop the nonsense and reopen the government.

Have to say, I never realized that 1 in 8 Americans don't pay for their groceries.

Being on welfare should void your right to vote until you are off of it (not counting retirement benefits and certain Veteran's programs).

The status quo is fucked up. Politicians are incentivized to try and purchase votes by handing out free shit that is paid for by the taxpayers (or increasingly, unsustainable debt). Then people on welfare are incentivized to vote for whoever will keep handing it to them.

We need some major changes.
