Im only going by the education I was given in the spinal chord injury hospital where ive just had my rehab. They were very hot on educating us about spinal injury, bowels and bladder, pressure sores and skin condition, spasms and spasticity, and how to keep ourselves as healthy and mobile as possible.

Could also possibly be due to a lot of people with spinal injury have problems with bladder control due to lose of feelings etc. Im very lucky in that I never lost control of bladder or bowel with my injury, just a lower flow rate but thats a different story with its own problems lol
