I wont be super sad if the Ms win the ship...Ill be rooting for them in a way and certainly vs Toronto. But....I also just went to Seattle for the last two games of the regular season a couple weeks ago and happy we swept ya too. With the "Game of the Century" Ohtani pitched and hit tonight, you !might be right. BUT, if MY Mariners continue to right the ship, you just never know.
In a few years we might be discussing Shohei as the greatest player of all time with what he does. It's pretty spectacular. This coming from someone who is not a Dodgers fan but can recognize greatness.I have been a Dodgers fan since the days of Piazza, Karros, Mondesi, Nomo back when they would come on KTLA in Los Angeles area. I am elated the last 10 or so years from all the success the team has had. Shohei Ohtani also might be the best player i have ever watched if not hes on a very short list and certainly is the best in the modern era.
I dont care about a title, i been watching for over 35 years. I just want an appearance! Loldont worry, you wont see the title...

got into an online argument with a Yankees fan who said its clearly Judge.I have been a Dodgers fan since the days of Piazza, Karros, Mondesi, Nomo back when they would come on KTLA when I used to stay in the Los Angeles area. I think he is already in that discussion. I mean, its Babe Ruth and Shohei. In a few years we might be discussing Shohei as the greatest player of all time with what he does. It's pretty spectacular. This coming from someone who is not a Dodgers fan but can recognize greatness.
I’m probably biased as a life long Red Sox fan who lives in So Cal and watches Ohtani often, Judge isn’t close to Ohtani’s levelgot into an online argument with a Yankees fan who said its clearly Judge.
I understand his POV of course, but sorry, there is just no way. Judge might be a better overall hitter of course, but if you factor in Shohei pitching, its no contest if you ask me

It's only the 4th inning. I dint think Seattle fans can live through a game 7.Looks like a game 7 will be needed.
yes, but Toronto is swinging and really hitting the ball. Seattle has gotten guys on base but nothing to show for it. Stay tuned as they say. It's only the 4th inning. I dint think Seattle fans can live through a game 7.
Two straight innings stranding bases loaded is exactly why we don't want game 7.yes, but Toronto is swinging and really hitting the ball. Seattle has gotten guys on base but nothing to show for it. Stay tuned as they say.
Ohtani’s box line from game 4 might be the greatest box line in post-season historyI think he is already in that discussion. I mean, its Babe Ruth and Shohei.
Who else are you considering?
Ted Williams? Bonds? Hank Aaron? Willie Mays?
Amazing players. But...nope
You must be a kid. I've been a fan since Snider. Reese. Campanella. Hodges. And not to e left out, Koufax.I have been a Dodgers fan since the days of Piazza, Karros, Mondesi, Nomo back when they would come on KTLA when I used to stay in the Los Angeles area. Campanella played in the 50s. Assuming you started watching baseball when you were even 5, that means you are in your mid 80s now, yeah? You must be a kid. I've been a fan since Snider. Reese. Campanella. Hodges. And not to e left out, Koufax.
I just turned 79, and started listening on the radio (remember radios?) I'm the early to mid 50's.Campanella played in the 50s. Assuming you started watching baseball when you were even 5, that means you are in your mid 80s now, yeah?
Yeah, I'm not sure who else you include in the debate. And I don't necessarily put Ruth at number 1 previously. So it's an interesting question and debate. Pretty wild to be able to watch one of, if not, the best of all time.I think he is already in that discussion. I mean, its Babe Ruth and Shohei.
