Everything Baseball

With the "Game of the Century" Ohtani pitched and hit tonight, you !might be right. BUT, if MY Mariners continue to right the ship, you just never know.

I wont be super sad if the Ms win the ship...Ill be rooting for them in a way and certainly vs Toronto. But....I also just went to Seattle for the last two games of the regular season a couple weeks ago and happy we swept ya too.
Great stadium, great fans, great atmosphere...twas a good time. And good garlic fries haha!

I have been a Dodgers fan since the days of Piazza, Karros, Mondesi, Nomo back when they would come on KTLA when I used to stay in the Los Angeles area. I am elated the last 10 or so years from all the success the team has had. Shohei Ohtani also might be the best player i have ever watched if not hes on a very short list and certainly is the best in the modern era.

In a few years we might be discussing Shohei as the greatest player of all time with what he does. It's pretty spectacular. This coming from someone who is not a Dodgers fan but can recognize greatness.

got into an online argument with a Yankees fan who said its clearly Judge.
I understand his POV of course, but sorry, there is just no way. Judge might be a better overall hitter of course, but if you factor in Shohei pitching, its no contest if you ask me

I think he is already in that discussion. I mean, its Babe Ruth and Shohei.
Who else are you considering?
Ted Williams? Bonds? Hank Aaron? Willie Mays?

Amazing players. But...nope

I’m probably biased as a life long Red Sox fan who lives in So Cal and watches Ohtani often, Judge isn’t close to Ohtani’s level

Ohtani is a better overall player than Aaron Judge. That is the general consensus to pretty much everyone outside of those maybe who are living in the tri-state area.

Im not a big follower of basketball but I liken Aaron Judge to James Harden of the NBA. They look great in the regular season once the post season comes around theyre nowhere to be found.

I am a yankees fan, but Judge has a great bat, but his fielding isn't great. Ohtani is above Judge for sure. Just my opinion

Campanella played in the 50s. Assuming you started watching baseball when you were even 5, that means you are in your mid 80s now, yeah?

Yeah, I'm not sure who else you include in the debate. And I don't necessarily put Ruth at number 1 previously. So it's an interesting question and debate. Pretty wild to be able to watch one of, if not, the best of all time.
