I remember Victory V sweets saying they kicked like a mule.

I had a Tomahawk, Chopper and Grifter. Wish I still had them, I'd be loaded.

Yeah, in recent years several league games have been played in UK (& other countries), so I was at Rams v Jaguars in London.

Well, when you translate it from American to English it actually means "Rugby With Padding".

I’ve watched it on TV over the years but this was the first live game I’ve attended. Not something I grew up with so don’t fully understand the rules/tactics but hey, live sport is live sport!

While I enjoy watching it my issue with it is the lack of fluidity in the action.

Very stop/start and some stops are very obviously to allow for Commercials when you’re thinking, just get on with it!

Exactly but the whole set piece element to it. I admire the way they execute them, it's excellent but the stop start element can make it hard work to watch.

Good if you've had a few beers and have broken the seal though!

Oh, I know the stadium well. Was at the first rugby and football matches there, the first concert there. Worked behind the bar at a Tina Turner gig there in my uni days!
