How do you like your erotic stories? On a scale of 1-10, where 1 is light and "clean," and 10 is as raunchy and dirty as it gets, where do your erotic story tastes lie? Do you have clear limits on how far you'll go in one direction or another, either as a reader or an author?

On a scale of 1-10, I'd say my tastes range from around 3-9. I generally like it at least a little kinky and dirty, but I can enjoy a lighter, more romantic, less sexual erotic story if it's well done. I can enjoy it very dirty, too, but sometimes balk when it gets so crazy I feel like I'm not reading about plausible human beings.

Yep. There are at least two axes to this scatter plot - explicit vs. kink. I write the entire range of explicit, basically PG to XXX. Kinks? No, 1 to maybe a 4, corresponding to about 10,000 Scovilles.

Well, that wasn't what I meant to say.
No simultaneity was implied, other than the kind that you would find in a library, where all of the action in all of the books is 'happening' all at once, if you were able to read them in such a fashion.
