Alaska is a big place and the floods were 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 hours away by jet plane from where I live. Plus, I live about 700 feet above sea level, so I'm pretty safe from floods. Thanks.

I was "low single-digits old" when we got our first color TV. One night the family was all in the den watching the "standard, expected programming" when mom realized I wasn't in the room.
She found me, upstairs in "mom and dad's bedroom" watching the old, black-and-white TV.

What was I watching? PBS
They were showing some opera. Because it was in (I assume) Italian, there were subtitles.

Mom: So there you were, all alone. Happily reading along to this opera on the PBS channel.

Went thrift shopping. Got a cool weird piece for holiday table, a vase, and a citrus juicer all for less than 10$
Tjmaxx 200$ motorcycle jacket for 40$. A crossbody purse and some dubai truffles. Ate 140 cal worth and left the rest with my bff for her sons
Craft show bits and bobs about 20$ worth
Hobby lobby got a kitchen towel a round place mat for table and a front door mat...everything was 50% off and spent15$
