I don’t think so I have done a little research in 1941 there was a Dakota that left Japan with a load of diamonds on it, heading to Java. My idea has Rick having something todo with this event the woman I have introduced has come for the diamonds she is maybe a Jewish spy as this is before Israel was created and the diamonds although Rick’s collateral to keep the bar running it never was his. A few sexual twists along the way and bing bang bosh a new story is created.

Sorry I don’t understand this? The story has to stay in period, and have the style of the 1940s movie. This is very new for me, this style and research is the time consuming part of the process.

Not really I once did see an internet list of golf movies and for some reason this was the number one golf movie in that list. I have since tried to find this list but as with all things internet it could be anywhere
