Bump this every day Trump fails to cancel Jimmy Kimmel

I missed the show! But caught the YouTube. The juxtaposition of before-and-after versions of the FCC chair and Trump's 180-degree remarks, which Kimmel posted, was fantastic.

The standing ovation and prolonged applause for him certainly were validations for free speech.

So another network put on a repeat of a Family Feud episode in the same time slot, and it tied Jimmy in the ratings.

You'd think all these assholes trying to make this fuck a '1st Amendment Martyr' would at least watch his fucking show.

Kimmel is just a tool used by the left to attack Trump. They'll drop him like he's hot when the next opportunity comes along. :)

🙄

How were the ratings for that “Family Feud episode” online / in print compared to Jimmy Kimmel???

🤔 😑 🤣

We. Told. Them. So.

🌷

Hahaha - yeah... Record ratings in tying with a repeat of Family Feud.

Jimmy's mother should be proud.

I suspect you are confusing Kimmel's lackluster six-month ratings average with the Family Feud episode.

Last night's Kimmel episode racked up 25 times the average Kimmel rating while only being available in 75% of broadcast markets.

No need to apologize, we recognize you for what you are.

Jimmy Kimmel’s return to late-night television after a brief suspension drew 6.26 million total viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings, making it the show’s highest-performing regularly scheduled episode in over a decade.

The robust ratings are remarkable partly because a typical episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" attracts roughly 1.6 million viewers.

derp.

I also wonder if the viewership average includes all the times (and there are quite a few) when Kimmel and Colbert, etc, are airing reruns for various reasons, so no one tunes in.

🤔

That ^ would definitely screw with your average. (I know I don’t watch reruns of any shows, so…)

🤔

In response to Kimmel's show on Tuesday, a Turning Point spokesman said Kimmel did not grovel sufficiently.

According to the Trump Bible, "thou shalt grovel at the feet of the Beast."

Somehow I doubt that Kimmel and other comedians will oblige.

They are a weird bunch of idiots.

Some tools do wear out... On the other hand, some just get resharpened and continue stabbing at the felon with their steely knives, forever. :devilish:

You’re missing the point. This isn’t about Jimmy Kimmel’s ratings—it’s about the First Amendment. As Mr. Miyagi said: Focus, eye! The issue is a felon in the White House trying to trample free speech because he’s too thin-skinned to handle being mocked with facts.

No - you are purposely 'missing' - really trying to obfuscate the point. A corporate employer firing or suspending an employee for something they said has ZERO 1st Amendment standing.
