I am 55 and there is no way I look 18 or under.

I actually got carded at age 47 or 48 and I might have groused a bit (I wasn’t even considering the compliment angle, just the inconvenience angle) until the bartender told me they card everyone who looks 35 or younger - and she did tell me I should take it as a compliment. I might have grunted a bit and then proceeded to go back out to my car to get my drivers license - where I habitually left it, because I hadn’t been carded in almost twenty years at that point.

So maybe you just look like your 35 or younger??? (I’ve met many
55 year old women - and older - who manage that quite easily). A good skincare routine, healthy living, some trendy clothes, and a chic haircut / color can blur the lines (quite literally) of age for women - and men.

But if you’re bound and determined to go with “the bad eyesight thing”…

I look like santa-claus at the age of 45! Completely white/silver. I guess i do have a little color left in my hair, but not much. Santa-claus minus the bowl full of jelly..

However, my pubes arent grey yet. So thats something to hold onto.
