There are two reasons I have never preferred the Cowboys.
One is because I am originally from DC and prefer that team. (Yeah, they lost to the Packers last week. I still like em.)
The second involves an incident where I was stuck down there at their airport in Dress Greens while traveling to my permanent duty station.
Talk about feeling like there was a target on my back.

I have to agree with you on that one. Landry (and Tex Schram) were class acts from a generation that has disappeared. While Jimmy Johnson did a great job, even he couldn't deal with Jerry Jones as owner, and Jerry has driven the franchise into the ground as a football power. I don't care how much the team is worth. I want some good, old-fashioned Cowboy football.

I am in Houston so the Texans are the team I pull for, but to be honest I watch less and less NFL as the players want to politicize it vs just plying the game. I do enjoy watching college sports a lot
