What are we all writing right now?

Lesbian witchcraft and/or sex magick
Is this your way - or perhaps Fate's way - of reminding me that I started a story set during the Thirty Years' War and that could just as easily incorporate this idea?

Nut gulped the hot liquid down, slurping it so as not to burn her tongue. It slithered down her throat and nestled in her stomach like a fiery snake. She turned to find somewhere to put the empty cup, and realised her head was spinning. “What was in that?”

“Don’t worry,” Heddi told her, taking the cup. Nut didn’t see what she did with it. “It’s part of the reading.”

“The reading.” Nut had wondered what it meant. “You want to see my palm?”

The tall woman smiled and stepped forward. “I want to see everything.” Her hands began to work at the fastenings on Nut’s jerkin. “It’s your body that tells your tale, dear, not your hand.”

So I’ve been reading The New Bottoming Book as research for a story about being a better bottom. In it, one of the authors talks about her journey from being a top to a switch.
So now I’m writing a Halloween story about a Domme who uses a Halloween party to be topped.

I’m actually very excited that I just submitted part five of my Vegas birthday weekend story. I’ve had a little bit of a stall out over the last three months, but that helped me kick it back in.

Already working on a draft for the Halloween contest and a rough idea for Christmas! Also want to focus on the last two chapters of the Vegas saga!

The second part of The Woman in the Spare Room is partly written, but on hold for an idea about a woman that struggles with her newfound bisexuality. That one was supposed to be a quick romp but turned into a slow burn. My muse has a mind of her own.

Damn Plot Bunny seems to have made its nest in my brain. Its latest whispering: a fantasy take on growing up during the Cold War. The constant shadow of annihilation hanging over you, from before you were born. A massive, formless threat only a few hundred miles away. Huge armies on the march every year as the two sides rattle their sabres.

If only the Plot Bunny had mentioned how to turn this into a story, preferably with hot redheads, I'd be writing right now.
@StillStunned,
If I may, respectfully,
1) Set it in Eastern France (I had a red head French girlfriend once)
2) Set it near a NATO staging post.
3) Involve a trip to West Berlin somewhere.

Just throwing it out there my friend.
Respectfully,
D.

That sounds like an interesting story. I’m going to keep my eyes open for it.
I just read the first section of Spare Room and I’m in love with your writing style.

This is now sitting at 13,000 words with a at least a main scene and an epilogue to come. Solid novelette territory. Might even expand to novella length.
And, as always seems to happen with me nowadays, my simple story of a woman trying to have as much anal sex as she can to prepare herself for a gang bang, has morphed into relationship melodrama. It’s like a sickness of some sort 🤣.

Thank you so much, I'm happy you liked it. The second part of Spare Room is giving me trouble because my muse insists I have to put that little family through some very tough things. But they shall prevail. That's why I left it for a bit and now I'm stuck in London, working through the emotions of a woman who has spontaneous sex with a girl in the loo at a club one night and no one is more surprised than she is.

Cheater's Anthology
It's the prequel to The Type and takes us back a decade to when Lyrou's series of flings and affairs began, up to the point where The Type begins with her husband Garin finally finding out. This will be a novel, though smaller than The Type.
status: started, mapped, and well into it.

The Celestial
It's about Rachel and Wyatt, a White American college couple. It opens when Rachel goes snooping through Wyatt's old laptop he hasn't used since he was single, before he met her, and discovers thousands of pornographic images, gifs, videos, and even literature all featuring and fetishizing Asian women. This will be a novella.
status: just started yesterday but 4,000 words into it, now. This puts Cheater's Anthology on hold.

The DIC Appointment Program
This is a short story that details from various perspectives a future regime under which virtually all new mothers are entered into an annual lottery if drawn and selected enters them into a national fertility rate boosting program; strong themes of reluctance/nonconsent and cuckoldry, with Orwellian vibes.
status: pending approval

Three or four in progress. A sequel to "My Sister's Room." Not happy with it so far. The characters from "Aunt Marta" meet the Warren sisters...two older sadistic ladies. Just started a story of a mature couple, long married, where the wife has decided to introduce her husband to chastity and the world of cuckoldry.

I'm writing a cigar fetish story. I needed to take a break from what I'd been working on before and go in a completely different direction, and I was intrigued by the whole "smoking fetish" thing. It's not a fetish I share, although I enjoy an occasional cigar. I was inspired by Bazzle to read some of the stories and to imagine putting myself in the shoes of someone who gets turned on by it. It's a fun departure.

It’s always easier when you’re on the outside looking in to give another body advice, isn’t it? If our positions were reversed, I’d probably be saying the same thing to Sara that she’d just said to me. Get rid of the fucker… but he’s my fucker! And here we are… my tears are staining her pillows and her tears are not staining mine.
