Argentina’s Javier Milei Honors Charlie Kirk: ‘The Whole World Lost an Incredible Human Being’

Argentine President Javier Milei issued a statement on Wednesday honoring the life of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, killed on Wednesday afternoon by an unknown gunman during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University.

Milei, who met Kirk during a visit to Florida shortly after his election to the presidency, praised Kirk as a “formidable spreader of the ideas of liberty and staunch defender of the West.” He also emphasized the relationship between left-wing ideologies and rampant violence in his statement.

“He was the victim of an atrocious assassination in the middle of a wave of left-wing political violence in the entire region,” Milei wrote. The left is always, at all times and in all places, a violent, hate-filled phenomenon. The whole world lost an incredible human being.”

Milei’s statement, accompanied by a photo of the Argentine president alongside Kirk and former Congressman Matt Gaetz, expressed condolences to the Kirk family “and to all the youth of the world who admired and listened to him.”

Well when you put it that way…

😑

Still, the original text exchange could well have been how things legitimately played out:

The POS shooter was crazy enough to try and get away with murder, so it isn’t a stretch to believe that he would do other insane things - like the text exchange in question.

The POS shooter panicking about losing the gun seems legit, as anyone who has ever had an heirloom item passed down to them has a strong incentive to retain possession of that item (for various reasons, in the case of the shooter).

The fact that the POS shooter was deep into an online fantasy world / culture suggests that he would be capable of falling into some dramatic role playing as he was exchanging texts with his “love” while under extreme duress.

The exchange was indeed odd, but not outside the realm of believability, impo.

A sound and well reasoned analysis.

Ironically, the fact that he was aware of the consequences of his actions negates an insanity defense.

🙄

I had a loooong career in forensic psyche, so I know from crazy.

😑

Also:

The shooter may well have been in a semi-delusional state where he had convinced himself that what he was doing was heroic / meaningful in the universe he inhabited. The language in the text exchange suggests that the shooter was indeed living in some fantasy world where his “love” / roommate would be cool with / grateful for what he had done: He was talking like nothing was going to change between them… like: “oh yeah, I just shot Charlie Kirk in the neck, I just gotta go retrieve my grandpa’s gun and then I’ll be right home…

😳

Pretty fucking crazy…but still likely to be found competent in the Utah & Federal systems.

You have repudiated Jesus Christ (which is ok), but may make for difficult post-death discussion with the Big Guy

Also, if you hate half of Americans, you hate America

Perhaps North Korea fits your preferences
You must have sourced your background check on me from Fox News. Nothing you wrote is true, or you have me confused with someone else.

North Koreans believe they live in a wealthy environment. But from all indications, they live in poverty and a daily malnourished existence. Why would an American want to live there? 🤷‍♂️

I don't hate nearly half of all Americans, well, it's getting close for a couple of posters here.

Pro tip: if you're trying to make the case that someone's opinion is of any value, you should probably avoid mention of any association with Matt Gaetz.

Milei’s lauding of that POS means fuckall as well.

👎

We should give more than zero fucks about what Milei thinks / believes???

🤔 😑 🤣

We. Told. Them. So.

Wait…

Charlie Kirk WAS a fascist by any modern measure of the word.

This is worth a read:

😳

The shooter who shot Charlie Kirk in the neck shot a fascist (and Charlie Kirk did more than “speak fascist”, he actively injured / harmed others through his fascist orders &’actions - like arranging for EIGHTY BUS LOADS OF FIGHTERS (fascists)’TO BE SENT TO THE CAPITOL ON J6, etc).

😳 😑 🤬

So that ^ makes the shooter a fascist???

🤔

Somebody needs to tell the members of "the greatest generation" and their families that all those service members who shot / bombed and killed fascists in WWII were fascists themselves…

😑

We. Told. Them. So.
