I'm transgender. I say that so you know I divide people into trans and not trans.
So if you are not trans, we call those people cisgender, a Latin term meaning you are not transgender, then you are a potential danger to me.

But I'm an atheist. The moment you say there is a God, you just lost the argument about who is the smartest. It's not you.

I have read the Bible. I wasn't always an atheist. I became one because I read the Bible. Science didn't make me an atheist.
I spent 50+ years as a convinced, happy Canadian Anglican.
But I read too much of the Bible
God as written is NOT a loving God.
He is ok with abortion, deal with that.
He's also ok with infanticide, rape, murder, basically every single so-called vice.
Under specific conditions.

No, don't resort to saying "that's just my interpretation". You would be making the mistake I even need or want to win the argument.
I'm an atheist. There is no God, and the Bible is just a badly edited, divisive, horrible sum of contradictions. Full of hate.
And the main problem with American white right Christianity is how outrageously mangled their belief is of what is and isn't in the Bible and what the message is.

There is no hell in the Bible.
No one is currently in heaven, yet. According to the Bible. Other than 2 humans. Impress me and name them.
Then there is the cherry picking the Catholics have subjected the Bible to.
Pretty bold editing God, eh.

Remember, I don't care what is or isn't in the book. In the end, it's not relevant. I'm an Atheist.
It's like arguing over what an Orc is? No such thing as orcs.

I think Gaza is sad. Two rival religions are trying their best to wipe each other out utterly.
I don't care which one wins. They are both killing each other's babies.
And their God doesn't exist.

Why do I support Ukraine? I have a mastery of 20th century military history. Putin is a dangerous swine. And I have a friend in Ukraine.
I'd rather Putin were dead, and Russia were not in Ukraine. Russia and Russians are going to miss all of those dead marriage-aged men who are also not in the workforce. They will also miss all the ones that were able to leave and did.

I don't have any grand political reasons for supporting Ukraine. Putin is just a dangerous person. He needs to go.

I don't believe in evil. Just a word to me

I also know the idea of God was not well thought out.
A God that can know all, and be responsible for creating all, just eliminated your free will. You are exactly as he intended you.

Gaza isn’t a war over religion, and “Palestine” isn’t a nation.

A terrorist enclave attacked Israel, murdered over 1000 people and took dozens of hostages. The war will end as soon as the hostages are free and Hamas surrenders.
