FUCKING DICK SIZE

Not exactly sure what you're trying to say, but I think we are more in agreement than not.

My point is this... To think women aren't as interested in "looks" as men seems a stretch and is perhaps wishful thinking (for men)...

Just look at Hollywood. For every Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Ann-Margret, and Sophia Loren there is an Erol Flynn, Rock Hudson (yes, I know), Cary Grant, Gregory Peck, Robert Redford and Brad Pitt. Women swoon as much over "sexy" as men do! Now, the fact that this doesn't factor into their husband choice is probably more a matter of economic realities, than preferences. Anyway...
Being interested in appearance and being visually sexually aroused are vastly different. As a submissive male in an FLR, my wife up is quite interested in my appearance. She must approve of my clothing before we go out, for example. She would never tolerate my having a vpbeer belly.
However, although She might comment on handsome men, She does not describe sexual arousal from visual images (nor do most women choose to watch porn when they masturbate).

Being interested in male attractiveness is far different from being sexually aroused by visual stimulus. Of course attractiveness is important in partner selection. Go back to your original post, you suggested yjat it was a “male trope” that men were more visually aroused (sexually) than women. No one suggested that women weren’t interested in male attractiveness.

IMHO, men view sex as a way to connect their penis to a vagina that craves it. Women view sex as a way to connect their soul to another's soul. Would many women turn away Richard Gere if he had a 4" penis? I doubt it. But men, stupidly, will ignore an incredibly sexy woman because she has a small bustline.
Then she obviously isn't that sexy to them.

"According to a survey by the Ladies Home Journal, 47% of women use erotica or pornography during masturbation and/or sex. Another study suggests that although men report having higher levels of arousal, a measure of men’s and women’s physical responses shows that porn can equally arouse both sexes."

I've not seen this study but I don't find the claim to be the least bit surprising. Consider the trend line. 20 years ago very very few woman watched porn and now, nearly half do, despite the fact that women attach more shame to viewing porn than men do. So, skip ahead another 20 years when the viewing of Porn becomes more normalized for women, it's predictable women will be watching it as much as men. Will their tastes in porn differ from men? God, I hope so. ..Mens's taste in porn is mostly horrifying.

As for women being less interested in physical attractiveness than men.... Well, remember that when previous generations of women chose a mate, his ability to be the SOLE provider of the household likely mattered more than his attractiveness.. Growing up, I can recall countless hot moms in our upper-middle class suburban neighborhood who were married to very homely looking Lawyers, Doctors and Corp execs. I don't see as many of these mismatches in the younger generations. Nowadays, there are more women becoming doctors, lawyers, and getting MBA's then men; thus, they can now make physical attraction a higher priority when choosing a mate.

As for being less interested in male attractiveness... Well, remember that past generations of women needed to prioritize a man's ability to be the SOLE provider when choosing a mate. But now, with more women graduating college and closing the earnings gap, women are able to prioritize physical attraction more than ever before.
Let’s close this issue. Feel free to have the last word if you want to make one last comment. Of course women are interested in male attractiveness (as they should be). I never suggested that women are incapable of arousal from visual stimuli, nor that they have no response to it, only that men are more wired to respond visually.

Back to the thread topic: Dick Size — I only know that mine has never visually stimulated any woman, except to laughter and sympathy.

Yes.. Back to the penis discussion :ROFLMAO:

I find it interesting that men seem to think a woman's penis preference is only a matter of it's size, and has nothing to do with it's appearance.

My hunch is that when a woman encounters a partners penis for the first time she is perhaps MORE interested in whether or not it's appealing looking - ie., its shape, and grooming, etc.. Seeing a very pretty, yet smallish penis, may be preferable to most women than a huge, but ugly one.

I think that the nature vs nurture dynamic is almost impossible to separate because we don't have an observable sample of women who live or lived under circumstances more or less the same as males. So, we can talk about it and analyze it up to a point but we can't perform any really valid statistical analysis because we don't have a control group.

I do think that women are interested in the physical attractiveness of men. And our feelings include feelings of sexual attraction. But I don't know if it is simply the same as male sexual attraction to women in reverse. Again some of that is tied into how society has conditioned us - even though we no longer need a man to support us the way we did in the past (because the patriarchy is no longer blocking our access to fend for ourselves, at least not completely) that factor is still there as part of our psychology.

But even if it wasn't I think we lust over different things in part because we are physically different. If I think of a beautiful woman with a great body I know that most heterosexual men would love to see her in a thong bikini. But if I think of a handsome man yes I see the appeal of his body but I don't want to see him in a speedo much less a banana sling. Frankly I'd probably find him most attractive in a well tailored suit. And I am generally not thinking with my genitals the way men do.

It isn't a matter of more or less. It is just that there are many observable differences between men and women. We are not opposites, but neither are we the flip side of the same coin.

Mine is kept in pretty panties. Does that count? 🙂

I believe that women are intrinsically more attractive than men so it makes sense that you would garner more visual attention. But I also wonder if there is some element of the eye of the beholder. I as a bi-sexual man do find that I am drawn to the visual appeal of an attractive penis, more so than it seems women are (although that is based upon my own purely anecdotal observations). Given the choice I suppose I would pick a nice pair of tits over a nice looking cock, but I cannot deny that the latter does make me want to get on my knees and suck him off.
