Tastes are such a strange thing. The girl's face is both cute and pretty, but her body puts me off a lot.

Is there an image Before?

No, but the internets are full of images you could substitute.

Look at her feet. That girl is a ballerina. The before image would be, I hope, significantly more off-putting than a muscular female body.

I imagine she's a professional dancer in mid-season form. That look would be very hard to maintain.

That look is probably partially from dehydration specifically for the photo shoot. That physique, however, is one she would need to maintain even during downtime in order to continue working professionally without risking injury and/or being fired from a production. Being a ballerina is gruelling work. I've only watched a few documentaries, but they go through absolutely brutal training, and it doesn't really stop until they retire from the art.

There is an intellectual component as to why people who are muscle definition-obsessed in general put me off. But this is also about aesthetics and attraction for me. I don't like seeing men with gym-chiseled bodies, and women even less so. There's being fit, athletic, and strong, and then there is this gym lunacy.

You can say that men are taller than women, and reasonable people can recognize that this is a true statement, and that some women are taller than some men. You don't have to belabor those exceptions.

I agree that the ballerina looks 'weird' to me, and I think weird here just means that I'm literally just not use to seeing the combination of someone that slim and with that amount of abdominal muscles. I think Erozetta is right that its both a very specific training regeme and dehydration as well. On the other hand, AwkwardMDs lady looks straight-forwardly great.

Lae'zel is amazing, and I've got a serious crush on Minthara and will probably try to rescue her during my current replay... but it's always the Daughter of Darkness, and I always end up saving her, and... well. Staring at her bum an awful lot, truth be told.

And as someone pointed out above, the super-chiseled look suggests a level of bodyfat that's more appropriate for a fitness posing competition than for everyday health. Even bodybuilders and fitness competitors don't usually look like that all the time. A certain amount of bodyfat is healthy, and the person in photo B of the initial post looks like someone whose bodyfat is below that level.

Gorgeous woman, but the build isn't really to my taste.

I think we can expect people's taste in muscular women to cover the same range as their taste in muscular men.

Astarion is the only "acceptable" one of them. But even he pales to insignificance alongside that moment when Shadowheart does that little "There was a time when I thought I'd never smile again. Shows how much I know."
