BLS stats LIE.....especially about COLOREDS

States DONT report all crimes to FBI, especially about COLOREDS

and as I have shown MULTIPLE crimes

many crimes by COLOREDS are attributed to whites

AI Overview

Reports that portray Black criminals as white often stem from biases in news coverage, which has been shown to downplay the race of non-white offenders, especially after high-profile incidents like the 2020 death of George Floyd
. This phenomenon is part of a larger issue of racial mischaracterization in crime reporting, which can also include falsely identifying Black individuals as white, though the inverse is more common.

Several factors contribute to mischaracterizations of suspect race in crime reporting:
  • Media framing: News media has been shown to frame crime in ways that reinforce racial stereotypes. For instance, white-collar crime is often implicitly framed as "white," while "street crime" is often framed as "black".
  • De-emphasizing race: Major news outlets have been observed to omit or de-emphasize the race of non-white offenders, particularly in the wake of 2020 protests for racial justice.
  • Inaccurate facial recognition: Flawed or racially biased technology can contribute to misidentification. Studies have shown that facial recognition tools are significantly more likely to misidentify Black and Asian faces than white faces. At least three known arrests of Black men have occurred as a result of faulty facial recognition matches.
  • Eyewitness misidentification: A significant portion of wrongful convictions involving eyewitness misidentification disproportionately affects Black defendants, sometimes leading to misidentifications and incorrect characterizations of a suspect's race.
  • Vague descriptions: Vague suspect descriptions used in police reports and subsequent news coverage can sometimes lead to racial profiling or reinforce stereotypes. In some cases, universities have excluded race from crime alerts in response to concerns over racial profiling.
  • Over- and under-reporting: Studies have found that television news often overrepresents African Americans as perpetrators and underrepresents them as victims of crime. Conversely, homicides involving white victims and Black offenders are often overreported.
The mischaracterization of criminals as white when they are in fact Black is part of a broader pattern of racial bias and misrepresentation within the U.S. criminal justice and media systems.

“I got that white girl.”

Hate based murder is a Federal crime. Someone isn't going to walk free from this one and I REALLY hope Pirro asks for the death penalty because the guy obviously was lying in wait.

it's okay. you can start talking about sex again when you get in too deep.
nice to meet another lurker...but actually, if you had perused my thread, youd know we rarely discuss sex and its more about books, music, movies, work, food, and things liken that, as opposed to the initial reason for this website.

You dont move to nyc seeking a boring life. Its always been crazy here. I used to post stories about it all the time but theres been a huge difference in how things are the past five years. Things are decaying rapidly.

So the question remains - if cashless bail is the issue, what is the solution? Getting rid of bail? Making bail more expensive for all?

Targeted bail based on race?
