The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

You must have sent all your hot weather west! We've been roasting here with 90+ weather since Friday last week. I need to mow the yards but I'm not going to do it in this heat. Supposedly we get some relief tomorrow. 🥵🥵
I’m sorry. I empathize as when the temperature rises above 80 I start to wilt and hibernate if it gets to 90.

I have had an Advantage program since I turned 65. It works for me as I'm relatively healthy. If I wasn't, I'd opt for traditional Medicare.
I have had traditional Part B. When my PCP retired it was easy to get a new doctor. I also have so many specialists too. No approvals just get the tests done.

Yeah. But it took me a while. I used to have a farm hand who was built like a 55 gallon drum. He loved splitting wood with an ax, a maul, a wedge and a sledge.

He was good at splitting it, just not good at stacking it! 😂

But once I got a log splitter, it was a whole different ball game. If I can get the health insurance thing right I could see myself doing farm work full-time. I still got a few more years to go I think.
Just be sure not to drink beer and split wood. I am speaking from experience.

Same here, Medical Insurance is the final hurdle to "freedom" from the corporate machine for me. 😊

Hahaha...that sounds like fun investigations.
We had a bad storm come through and there was hail and a whole bunch of people living in essentially shacks with 50 yr old roofs got new siding and roofs. I call that bs

3 dents in siding shouldnt entitle people ro all new siding.

One person said the adjuster came out and didnt even climb on the roof to look just said ok because he was "too busy'

Yip, thsr is misrepresentation from the assesor. In South Africa that would be considered fraud and is both a criminal offense and a dismissal offense.

Some insurers here use drones to assess roof damage after a storm, or crop damage.
They come out before hand to get images of your property then compare the before and after photos when you claim.

Meanwhile, my line had yesterday's fucking plumbing leak. There is a supply pipe called CPVC. After it is over 20 years old, it gets brittle. It's a maintenance man's nightmare. Touch a line to turn off a toilet valve and have it sometimes, without warning, pop loose in the wall and then you have a half-inch (12mm) line spewing forth. Anyway, we have that pipe in this 48-unit apartment/flat rehab. Did the first 3 units Monday. The downstairs kitchen cold water supply popped a'loose 24 hours later. The only good part is, she's in the hospital so she isn't home for this "experience."

Story is, if she were home, it wouldn't have been her first rodeo.
Cpvc strikes again

What do you do for a living Missk?
I am a nurse

I now work as a clinical documentation specialist at one of the big 3 hospital systems in ohio. I am tasked with making sure providers document and accurately code chrinic disease in patients so that the centers for medicare and medicaid set aside enough money for medicare patients. Me and 3 other nurses jave about eleventy billion docs to chase around
