Same here, except for some of the big cities where they talk folk slang. We are pretty easy to get along with, mostly, i think most people find accents interesting, we really only have one accent across the big country, with a few minor exceptions so i find its good to enjoy something different every now and then
I guess since I live here, I don't notice as much. But you're right. I have family in New Hampshire (NE USA) and I'm in Ohio (Eastern/Central states). New Hampshire peeps have a country accent and I have a big city accent (I was originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)Really, I have noticed looots of variety in the accents across the US, i wonder if thats because we dont notice the differences so much in our own countries
I want to do apples, bananas, and strawberries.I did apples once...so yummy
I first considered regional accents when i saw this old house for the first time. Norm has such a unique accents it puzzled me until someone explained the myriad of unique flavors of English present in the US. Gotta love itI guess since I live here, I don't notice as much.
