Epinephrine isn't a pain med. They should have anesthesia without epi in it. Ask for it.

What would epi be for? Bleeding? Make yhe numbing more effective?

I think it helps prolong the numbing agent and reduces bleeding.

Without epi, I am no longer numb after like an hour.

Pretty good. I almost lost my debit card but o found it... I left at the philipino bakery stall. She kept it safe for me but other that that pretty boring day...

My dentists said it was to make the pain meds work faster. I told him I would wait. And I did. Epi will make my heart race. Not good for me.

I have an amazing dentist. He won't do any invasive work until I'm completely numb. They even use topical novocaine to numb the injection site.

I found one that I'd really like to keep. But, they don't take mah Inshornce.

Evolution is an interesting thing. Back when we were still swinging from tree to tree that kind of observation and judgement would keep you safe. It would not surprise me if some of us still have an affinity for this kind of immediate feeling.

Still, I prefer the term “spidey sense”
