The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

If I post something here it will reappear in my new posts thread, why it disappeared is still a mystery (there is a chance that I keep browsing over it but I doubt it).

If you are at work, you should be working. You shouldn't be on your phone or computer looking at this site. Duh. Play Candy Crush or Farmville to kill your lunch time. You have a serious problem if you can't go a few hours without your porn fix (erotic literature).

So now, no more naked boobs. Just as well. I didn't really get much of a response anyway.

I thought I took a photo of my tits....turns out it was my toes. I thought, still sexy (at least the one without the fungus). Tried to post, couldn't figure it out!

Well the last 48 we’re not fun. Emergency appendectomy.

Hope you’re feeling a lot better.

How long did you have symptoms before it reached crisis stage???

A guy I worked with said he was suffering in agony for a week or two and tried to rationalize that it was just bad indigestion or something…

His appendix finally burst at work and he nearly died…

And he was a pretty young guy mid to late twenties…

😳

Same thing happened to me in my early twenties, just a week of agony, the last night I was screaming, straight to the hospital. my 6 pack was sliced down the middle and I was washed out w/gallons of saline

Oh thanks! I thought I would feel great after but not so much!

I woke up sick on Tuesday (no other issues prior) I knew something was wrong. I pushed my way through to get a doctors appointment ASAP. By Tuesday evening I was diagnosed.

Yesterday afternoon I had surgery. The surgeon told me it was ready to rupture, so I am glad I trusted my instincts.

I always feel like crap after major surgery. Sometimes it’s just from a Sometimes it’s just from the anesthesia leaving your body and being cut open of course. You should start feeling better in a few days, if you don’t go back to the doctor and just make sure everything’s OK .
Before Could you feel It in your lower right abdomen? What did it feel
Like?

Your instincts, and your assertiveness in getting an appointment & diagnosis very likely saved your life.

That ^ is quite inspiring & affirming in a very real way. Sometimes it feels like we’re at the mercy of nature & the system, but your story illustrates the power of individual human agency.

Good on you!!!

👍

Damn. I'm glad you're alright. I bet the doggos are being great nurses with lots of snuggles.

A small supermarket chain store, in a small country town, playing The Pretenders “Middle of the Road” had me rockin’ in front of the cheese cooler.
