I've been writing using AI to help with pacing and to brainstorm ideas on where my story can go.
But I fear it's muddied my writing style.

If anyone is willing to read a story of mine, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Themes include taboo/incest and slow burn, gender transformation, with my own spin on an x-change universe.

I've been writing using AI

Please don't. Why would you do that? AI not only kills creativity, it steals other people's words and ideas, works hard to kill the planet and, most importantly in this context, makes it harder to publish here on Literotica.

Write something. If it isn't working, change something and rewrite. Change POV, add a new character, shuffle scenes, give characters random kinks and secrets, see what happens. Blind date, guy and girl hit it off, end up in bed, but it's not going well. She stops him. "I need you to be my daddy. I need you to spank me and call me baby girl." He hesitates, then nods. "Okay, baby, I can do that, but I warn you: Daddy's an ass man, so you better love anal."

You don't need AI. You just need to be willing to play.

To clarify, I only use it to keep my ideas and direction in check, but not to write my words for me. Assist with pacing.

I'm severely allergic to AI. Just your mentioning it makes me not want to read your words. Why would you choose to embrace a technology whose very purpose is to bullshit convincingly and does so much damage in the process?

To be clear, AI can be very useful in many contexts, but it is not creative and don't let it train you to think it is.

Well, I'm new to writing, and you know you're your own biggest critic right? When I read my own words, I can't help but feel like it reads badly, or as if it's missing information to help paint a better mental image.

So I turned to it because it was easy. I didn't realize there was such a negative connotation with getting assistance from AI.

new to writing? that is fine, we all were once. And early stuff has a tendency to not be quite so great, to be polite about it. Writing is very much like many things, takes practice and effort to get better. Just keep writing. You will get there.
