So, I'm looking for possible beta-readers (may also be down for editing... maybe), for a rework of the first part of my ongoing series (A Ballad of Light and Darkness). It's mythic fantasy in theme, Dark fantasy, Battles, with humans and elves and whatnot.
Prologue is quick and dialogue focused. Chapter 1 starts atmospheric and mood focused, but more intimately focused on female main once she is introduced. I reworked the story to suit my vision of it much better, compared to the first version of the first part published here. The revision is almost completely different in prose.
FMC is a dark elf princess. Part 1 has some sensual dancing, but no sex scenes(Later parts will).
Looking for:
-People who appreciate some good old classic fantasy flair.
-Preferably people who don't mind a little ornate prose
-Lovers of atmosphere in fantasy writing.
-Or anyone just interested.
-criticism is welcome, obviously. I know there always are things that can be worked on, and I welcome any feedback. Any advice you give is welcomed to consider. Writing is a hobby, and I welcome any chance to improve and get more polished in my writing skills.
Some warnings:
-There is an SA attempt in the last scene, unsuccessful, but just thought I should add the warning, anyways.
