Could’ve gone a zillion different ways on this one, but the springs be back to good, carefree days. Or like today…
This is one of the songs the first time I heard it, I was like, “what the fuck is this?” More good early psychedelic, metal, hard rock: wah wah pedals out the azz and fantastic double bass drums. And a fucking great video.
The Open Mind - Magic Potion
Could’ve gone a zillion different ways on this one, but the springs be back to good, carefree days. Or like today…

This one gets a lot of airplay for me and reminds me of when days are just really good, but also of some specific days that were very good.
Also we're in some of Paul's peak vocal years where you get that effortless feel to hit the highs yet he's still able to toss in that little raspy punch whenever he wants to whatever level he wants.
