I've met more than I care to count over the past several years. They all have several points in common. They jump from one meaningless affair to the next all the while complaining that "there are no good men out there." And from their perspective they're probably right, confirmation bias.

I'm sorry he died also, but as he always said life goes on and if I die first, enjoy the hell out of the rest of yours. There is no such thing As toxic male behavior. It's just a few unhappy men who can't either get it up or can and are terrible lovers and try to bring all men down to their level. Men have been the same since I started noticing they were good for other things besides being a tomboy with them. I grew up with three brothers and many male cousins and they had no qualms about talking about women around me. They just considered me on of them. I learned a lot about the male psyche during those years and what they wanted in a women.
