LilKitKat's Second Cumming Thread 💦

@LilKitKat Good luck on the employment front. I'm late into my career and currently looking to switch employers. I'm a top producer with lots of experience and technical knowledge in my field. I have great customer relationships and constantly get offers to interview. Other companies in my region have outpaced my employer's pay plan and my pay is no longer even remotely competitive. I could potentially increase my pay 30%-50%. I do like where I work and have some great work relationships but all the loyalty in the world can't overcome that pay gap. I want to retire in a few years, so earing and saving is a top priority for me.
30-50% is a big difference.
I know my potential new position is going to pay 20k less than what I am earning now and well, thats a lot.
I dont just chase money or even close...but I do have a line in the sand of course.
That said, still guessing that if I am offered this position, it wont be one for me long-term. It just feels a notch off in a couple areas.
So this would just be a stop-gap and keep searching/interviewing etc.

I was hoping for more out of Yuki after he finally had a strong qualifying. The pit cycle sort of stranded him but I can't understand his deficit to Gasly in the race. He just couldn't get into striking distance.

Middle of the race, I found to be really boring. It was clear tire deg was going to be the deciding factor and everyone was just going to manage the mediums, especially once they saw Hadjar flounder on the hard.

Wow that was one long ass delayed start and not a fantastic race.
If Lando hadnt made those 2-3 errors in the last 8 laps or so, he would likely have made one helluva comeback.
Happy for Charles and Lewis. Alex did well too.
I gave up waiting and watched the BSB and Superbikes on TNT instead 😆 came back for the last 4 laps only then turned off for the Euro Women's final

I let the DVR record and went out to cut the grass. Came back and was in the first lap behind safety car. There was plenty of action on the track but was ultimately a strategy race. Those do get boring. Hopefully 2026 will spice things up.

For me I’d like to see the refs open up. Leave the basic bounding box of wheelbase, length, and width. Movable front and rear wings. Or no wings. 1000 max HP any way the can get it. Fuel limit. Max downforce 3000 KG. Let’s see what the designers can really do.

Had one of my English friends post 'It's Coming Home' to which I responded, yeah, because your Women's team is better than your Men's team... I of course meant it as a joke, but... I think he took it too personally lol
As someone who didnt really have a team to root for there, I didnt really care truthfully but on the other hand, I admittedly dont really often root for England as a country. I do root for specific athletes from England in various capacities, but when it comes to football...yeah the English as a whole are a bit too arrogant for my tastes, so I generally have a laugh when they lose. Alas, they did win this match. Hats off.

I agree with English being arrogant but sometimes take it with a grain of salt since we are all pretty sarcastic fuckers And the men are awful at winning world cups. I take my hat off for the ladies, they did a damn good job, that last penalty made for great football viewing!
