LilKitKat's Second Cumming Thread 💦

But Ill come home and watch quali with coffee and make some eggs and hash browns or bacon or something if not a healthier avo toast option!
Sounds like a perfect Saturday morning! Fancy a +1 for it? ;P I'll bring the sausage to go with the bacon bahahaha

The job seems super demanding. If I get it, Ill take it, but its not ideal admittedly.
Meanwhile my contact at Accenture is slowly working on that opportunity with me, and being submitted to Microsoft now too.
Something will fall into place soon.

Yes, loved Bill Paxton in that role and in some of his other films. The directors cut of Aliens is a bit better than the released version but still an epic movie/series etc, love the universe and the Noah Hawley/FX show is one I am looking forward to. Just finished one of his books, and obviously lvoed the Fargo series he created.

Weekend plans. F1 of course. Might try a new pizza place that opened up. Gotta drive a friend to the airport tomorrow at like 4:45am...UGH. She owes me! But Ill come home and watch quali with coffee and make some eggs and hash browns or bacon or something if not a healthier avo toast option! Not sure of everything to be fair.
Full on then

The Microsoft is the devil, they are on the dark side of the power.

They changed a lot and opened for the open-source but under the hood they are the same.

Let's check their leaders, their products, release and pricing model and their communication style.

You really need big companies and environments and projects to become more senior and professional!

I wouldn't sell my soul ...
Well, Ive worked at Microsoft before and its a tough nut to crack there for sure. I cant say I loved it. But not the worst experience ever either.

As for big companies, my resume has only been big companies Intel (internship and then a few months after grad), PwC (1 yr contract), Amazon (only 3 months...they used me for a report and then let me go...it was lame), Microsoft (6 mo contract), Adobe (now).
Id prefer to add Accenture vs the one I have on Monday at (company name withheld) and its a big company for sure, albeit not as big as Microsoft or Amazon etc.
But who knows the slow progress with those and Ill keep applying regardless. PRefer to stay in tech, finance, or medical tech/healthcare.

I have a third and final interivew on Monday morning apparently.
So I passed but I guess theres some questions they still have.

Yay?
This might be reaffirming the time zone thing. They are now questioning the other person again too I bet. So keep being awesome and I think you may have it... if you want it.

I thought it was, but its apparently some questions never asked/answered about how I handle/align more than just tech teams, but sales, marketing, analytics...and then understanding the overall business model.
But whatever, I should be fine there, not worried.
Im only worried what they want from me is more than what I want to do with the money/time offered etc.
But Ill consider that after they make an offer regardless.

If the company is big you have more chance to work sooner or later on bigger/ more complex projects.

If you interested in technology you need to learn about it and/or how can you trust and motivate the Engineers.

In your age I advise you to apply for permanent roles at the company Vs contracting roles.
You need continuous employment and experience and good relationships with the client's so later you can be contractor again for bigger money!

trust me, I PREFER to get a permanent FTE role.
Its a matter of whats offered to me...not what I am going after.
I also dont want to be out fo work for 8 months or a year if I can take something immediaterly and then keep looking for the "better" role.

PwC was supposed to be perm after 1-2 yrs, but my manager's manager had to re-org the company. I still communicate with my old mgr there, he was awesome. He wanted me FT

Intel was perm.
