Not a sexy song, but one that is close to me. I don't let a lot of me to be seen here on the boards. A rough life with many ups and downs. I stay as positive as possible and hope it helps others. But there is a lot I deal with in the real world that few really know about. So, I decided to share a bit here now, when I know I won't be on much today lol.

This one is difficult for me. I haven't been on the threads long enough to really get to know many of you, BUT I want to! I'd hate to lose touch and miss out on all the flavor you're all bringing to my life right now!

Yes, this one is hard for me too, because I haven't been posting for very long, after taking a long hiatus. But I've made some recent contacts with some good first impressions!

As for the other part of this, it is really hard to say. I have lost touch with so many over the years and been lucky to reconnect with some. I think you get kind of used to it. There are people here that I have gotten really close to, but they have disappeared, and some that I am still close to and talk to quite often. I think one has to know that the outside world comes first, and the chances are high that a friend will eventually become silent.

Not trying to be a downer, just speaking from the experience of being here as long as I have been. There are a few I would really be sad about if communication stopped.

I think I already have backup plans with all those I’m really close with.. there are some people who know my address…and one who has even been in my house
When I left lit I made sure I had ways to contact everyone I had deeper connections with. That core group hasn’t changed all that much.. some, but not much.
Guess I’m relying on that

I would hate to lose touch with a few people I don’t really have offline contact with though, like @Shenanigans90 , when Skype went down it sucked not getting to keep up with each other

When Skype died a horrible death I tried hard to make sure I could still have my favourites somewhere safe. Not everyone moved to a different site so I've kept in touch with some of those people here and I'd be really sad if, for reasons out of our control, that would be the end of those friendships.

I've had a nice few days chatting away to @Tallulah82 and @AmberLGreen and would be glad to continue. I'll be double checking with some other lovely people over the next couple of days too.

I don’t build that many close friendships so only have a small circle on Discord. I will try to add to it in the next few days.
